Diese Cover-Version entstand aus dem tiefen Wunsch, die Botschaft von „Vätern und Söhnen“ noch kraftvoller und emotionaler spürbar zu machen. Während das Original aus Süddeutschland bereits ein eindringlicher Ruf nach Frieden und Menschlichkeit ist, wollte ich eine Interpretation schaffen, die noch näher ans Herz geht und die Dramatik des Augenblicks verstärkt.

Es ist ein Lied gegen das Töten, gegen den Wahnsinn des Krieges und gegen das Auseinanderreißen von Familien. Doch vor allem ist es ein Lied für das, was uns alle verbindet: das gleiche Blut, die gleiche Sehnsucht nach Freiheit, die gleiche Hoffnung auf ein Leben in Würde.

Mit jeder Zeile, mit jeder Note erhebt sich die Stimme gegen Gewalt und Lüge und für ein Morgen, das uns als Menschen eint – jenseits von Herkunft, Nation und Religion. Dieses Cover ist mein Beitrag, die Botschaft noch klarer in die Welt zu tragen: Nicht in unserem Namen. Nie wieder Krieg.

Out August 12th, Nicky Romero's 'The Moment' remix package delivers four powerfully unique twists on the original hit, which was unleashed on June 17th. With over a million total streams, Romero's 'The Moment' again showed the world why he is one of the foremost artists within the dance music scene, concocting a synthesized symphony of pretty pianos and bombastic basslines which has inspired euphoria in ravers right around the globe this festival season. Now the track has been given four distinct makeovers in reworks from Breath Carolina, Lipless, Toby Green and Twofold.

Operating out of Colorado, USA, Breath Carolina have crafted their 'Moment' into a high-energy Electro House banger, adding vitality with huge, driving drums and buzzing lead synths designed for all-out party bliss. Having just released his EP on Kaskade's Arkade imprint, up-and-coming Australian talent, Lipless, pursues an alternative approach with his remix – choosing instead to take a 'Moment', slow down and allow the inherent beauty of harmony and Future Bass ear candy to bless the listener's earholes. Danish producer, Toby Green, then wastes no time in steering his 'Moment'-ous interpretation towards a familiarly upbeat Future House landscape.
