Since spending time together in the studio, pioneering house producer Todd Terry and established duo Leftwing:Kody gear up for a punchy collaboration in the form of the Just Getting Warm EP set to release on Solardo’s Sola label.

Combining Todd Terry’s old school influence and sheer production wizardry along with Leftwing:Kody’s masterful craft and signature sound,  lead track Just Getting Warm is a smooth blend of rumbling basslines and piping synth breakdowns. Meanwhile, Never Forget accelerates into a grooving medley of fierce drums and diva vocals set to channel good vibes across the dancefloor. 

Needing little introduction, Todd Terry is one of the world’s most celebrated figures in dance music with almost two decades of dance floor domination under his belt. Known for producing underground smashes and chart hits, Todd Terry simultaneously became a club cool DJ and commercially accessible artist. Releasing on the likes of Strictly Rhythm, Toolroom, CR2 as well as more recent releases on his own imprints InHouse and vinyl only label Freeze Records, Todd Terry continues to be a hugely prominent name on the scene. 

Meanwhile Leftwing:Kody made their stamp back in 2012, with their debut EP bringing them immediate recognition and amplifying them as remarkable producers amongst their peers. Having received notable backing from the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles and Loco Dice to name a few, the pair went on to launch their Lost Records label. Releasing on their own label as well as Solid Grooves, Kaluki, Toolroom, Desolat and more recently Truesoul earlier this year, it’s clear Leftwing:Kody show no signs of stopping as they continue to rise above the ranks.

Aussie import Marcus Santoro leads his upcoming EP with the release of its title track "A New Day" on Nicky Romero's Protocol Recordings. The new single showcases his signature mix of classic progressive house with trance influences; Santoro delivers breezy melodies and driving basslines underneath soulful vocals by Misha Miller that add an emotive element to it, especially with hopeful lyrics that hint at a positive time ahead. Romanian singer Miller has previously worked with Manuel Riva on multiple occasions and has millions of streams across various releases. The full "A New Day" EP, which is set to be released on December 11th, carries that feeling throughout, spanning a myriad of genres and sounds for a compilation that is both dancefloor-friendly and purifying.

No Silence: In this track Mollono.Bass fills the aural space around the voice of singer Kuoko as if his groove was a liquid that flows around the contours of a mould. The Super Flu remix works just the other way around. First, the duo initiates a pulsating force field of bass and enigmatic hints of melody. The voice of Kuoko creates only fine ripples on the surface of the time-space-continuum, before it breaks through around the middle. Stephan Zovsky's remix of Your Smile draws a wonderful contrast to this deeply hypnotic atmosphere. As a close friend of Mollono.Bass he has a deep understanding of the melodic soul of the original, which enables him to translate this soul into his very own style in an extremely elegant way. Driven by open hi hats and the bite of the snare we're hurled into a bouncing state of collective euphoria where the corners of our mouths and our arms are pulled upwards by some sort of magnetic force.
