[A] MYKOOL - Billet doux:
Nu Venture regular MKOOL returns for his 4th Release on the label with his latest double installment of Liquid Drum & Bass. Opening the release is Billet doux a soft vocal track created with a warm and airy feel throughout, whilst featuring intricate rhodes chords in collaboration with dynamic plucks from the upright bass, to give this tune it's jazzy foundations on which the smooth vocals are layered upon. The track reaches it's ultimate crescendo by building up to the second chorus which removes the rhodes chords and introduces soothing string sections for a tranquil orchestral approach.

[B] MYKOOL - Blackwater :
Blackwater was made with moody intentions and a darker vibe in mind, using rhodes chords designed to incite a chilled and mellow flavour, to perfectly compliment the contrasting deep bassline with it's raw powerful reese sound. From the second drop the track progresses, as the amen break is introduced and layered in the background, to increase the energy of the industrious drums and add a more old school feeling to the track.
