Skysha is ready to warm your souls yet again with his heart felt melodies, only this time he is being joined by the renowned Russian saxophonist Mikhail Morozov better known by the alias Syntheticsax. 

What the guys have prepared for you is simply beyond amazing. Skysha provided a solid basis for Mikhail to work on, as the track starts easy with the chilled intro and then the hard beats get us going. Musical droplets are introduced with a driving bassline that leads us straight into the breakdown that is safely kept for Mikhail’s saxophone magic. You need to hear it for yourself to hear what this guy is capable of doing, playing with his sax like it’s just a toy, giving us goosebumps all over our body… The track starts lifting us up and we’re up dancing all over again. Provided in this package is also a dub mix that includes a clean instrumental mix of Skysha’s work for everyone to enjoy, but we guess you already know which one is our personal favorite in this one.

Aeden’s newest release on Pulsar Recordings is a steady tune that will surely capture the hearts of many trance listeners. The echoed voices and stabbing synths get the journey started through-out the world of great plains and unspeakable wonders of our world, just surrender to the lush synths and an everlasting feel of this outstanding tune.

The remix version comes from Farhad Mahdavi, featuring a more softer approach in the beginning of the track, until the rolling bassline kicks in and sets things in motion, giving us an alternative experience of the great “journey” with a more delicate string sounds that are featured in the breakdown. In one serene moment you will feel the oceans summer breeze as the track goes by.

Senseless - Uncut

We are continuing to bring more uplifting trance goodness for your ears! This time it is Leenoox with his brand new single release called Euphoria. As the title suggests, the track gives us a hint of things to come, big uplifting beats and euphoric synths all prepare the ground for an amazing breakdown that feature a dreamy plucked sounds and twirling synths that all unite in one big dropdown.

The remix duty is handed to one of our regular producers on the label, Airzoom. His version has a more progressive feel in the intro that is spiced up with some nice effects and vocal hooks. The breakdown welcomes us with a new melody that progresses to the plucked melodies carrying us straight into euphoria.

At summer’s end, we meet another musical blueprint of the creative mind of Antillas. He pairs with Canadian duo Destineak, showing us a sneak preview of his upcoming album with the energetic ‘Silenced’.

The crowds have been moving to his ‘Damaged’, the smash of ‘Disconnected’ and many outstanding remixes of Antillas making. But they’re craving more. And more they get.

Teaming up with Christina Sing and Bobby James, the Italian producer balances the eclectic tastes of trance, prog and house with a touch of mainstream. ‘Silenced’ easily finds its way to the floors, as well as moving it. We can’t wait for the Antillas album to land.

Cape Town, South Africa -- for some, it's one of the most remote locations on earth, practically the stuff of legends. For Nate Raubenheimer, the tip of the southernmost African country is home. Armin van Buuren has said of the man, "Everything he touches turns to musical gold." Really, there can be no stronger endorsement, nor can there be a statement more accurate. 

His is a classic tale -- inspired at the age of 8, it wasn't long before his life's journey led him to audio engineering school, and ultimately, to the largest festivals in the world. Protoculture's fans are filled with an almost feverish adoration, the kind of hard-earned reputation that only someone with genuine talent can enjoy. Success hasn't been all roses for the producer, however, as his hometown is one of the worst spots to travel from for an internationally touring DJ. 

'Music Is More Than Mathematics' is an appropriate title for this exceptional album, and there's absolutely no formula for what Protoculture does. If "awesome" could be bottled into a jar, it would be this record. Finding better descriptors is as pointless as trying to compete with his musical talents. 
Even though each record radiates the artist behind the controls, Protoculture was able to attract talented producers, songwriters, and vocalists to help realize this record. Christian Burns, Johnny Yono, Max Graham, Jennifer Rene, and Tricia McTeague are some of the multitalented collaborators that made 'Music Is More Than Mathematics' possible, and their respective contributions seem to come at the precise time they're needed in this musical journey. 

Certain albums defy conventional logic, and certain sounds are so transcendental that it's hard to see "trance" as anything but the right term. This is a special release, and one that covers as much territory as Protoculture's frequent trips around the globe.

It may come as a surprise to some, that in 2014, Armada Music appears to be making its first foray into a chill compilation. Following support from MK, The Magician, Tensnake and Skream on his debut Anjunadeep release, Lancelot returns with another exciting collaborative EP, this time with Australian soul sensation Ngaiire.

Premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Skream, "Ain't Nothin' Goin' on But the Rent" picks up where "Givin' It Up" left off, fusing contemporary deep sounds with retro vocal vibes. Ngaiire covers Gwen Guthrie's 80's classic in style over jam-band style instrumentals, featuring live guitar, keys and synth.

The sound of the Anjunadeep Miami party, B-side "Truth" ventures deeper, with Ngaiire again harnessing a throwback vocal over a warm, enfolding bass groove.

First up on remix duties is Meramek, who follows up his exciting debut Anjunadeep EP with a seriously bass heavy cut, perfectly primed to do some damage on the dance floor.

Lancelot himself turns in an ace piano dub reworking of the A-side, fuelled by ravey low end and infectious piano stabs beneath the chopped up vocal.

Fellow Aussies Playmode, fresh from remixing Ninetoes and collaborating with Jesse Rose put a wonky dancefloor spin on the original, working a bouncing tech-house groove around the stripped back vocal.

The trance-led remix battle between trance-legend Markus Schulz and the formidable EDM duo Grube & Hovsepian makes for a huge and significant club anthem of the indie-pop record. ‘Safe and Sound’ comes out on the 22nd April on Capitol Records.

Debuted on New Years Eve at POPNYE and since played out at huge events including A State of Trance, Ultra Music Festival and Transmission, 'Safe and Sound' captivates the crowd like no other. The track resonates itself in a pure cause to celebrate and has even served as the background music to several engagements at Markus’ shows!

Markus launched 2014 with Scream 2, the17-track follow up to the extremely successful album Scream.
