Firepower Mix

Live recording from the third installment of NIGHT BASS on April 3rd at Sound Nightclub with AC Slater (Trouble & Bass, Party Like Us), Shift K3Y (Columbia Records UK), Ruff Hauser (Cats & Boots Records), Petey Clicks (Party Like Us), and Bones (Gotta Dance Dirty).

On Thursday, January 30th, we launched NIGHT BASS at Sound Nightclub – a new event series curated by AC Slater and his Brooklyn-based record label Party Like Us. LA Weekly called Night Bass "The Most Exciting Party in LA" and BPM Magazine raved about the monthly saying it is "The Most Exciting New US Dance Party". We wanted to capture the vibe of NIGHT BASS to share with everyone. And so, in the spirit of the old skool rave "tape packs" of the 90s, we're making these special live sets available each month after NIGHT BASS here on Soundcloud.

The mysterious Bobby Puma comes out of the shadows to release his striking big-room single, "Jump" with Wolfpack, on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's Smash The House label. "Jump" was initially premiered during Miami as an "ID" track, and the clamor surrounding who had produced this peak time smash increased as the hype around the release grew palpable. When the track was officially premiered on Danny Howard's, BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems, it was revealed that Bobby Puma and the emerging Belgian duo, Wolfpack, were the masterminds behind it. With the tune already having fans in raptures, it is sure to swell the ever growing popularity of these two artists who are starting to force the scene to sit up and take note of them. 

Tested and proven by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, "Jump" has already astonished crowds far and wide. In the track, Bobby Puma & Wolfpack have fused a Melbourne bounce sound with the full-throttle energy of big-room house, using exhilarating builds and heavy drops for pumping main stage-ready vibe. While countless rumors were surfacing about the track's producer being various EDM titans and progressive house dons, the identity of the true producers has finally been revealed and they will receive all the credit due to them as the track continues to Smash The House from Los Angeles to Amsterdam and back again.
