Deepwibe Underground begins the new year by welcoming Ric Niels to the label for his debut EP. Although only eighteen months into his production career, the Argentinean artist has already achieved veteran level success. Longstanding imprints such as Clubsonica Records, Mango Alley and Movement Recordings have played host to Ric's groovy progressive sound, while the genre's tastemakers, most notably Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been primary supporters. Now with new music forthcoming on The Soundgarden, Ric makes his Deepwibe Underground debut with 'Lahkuma', alongside a remix from Kostya Outta.

Mercurio is the 19th release of Droid9 South America and the first release of the year 2022, releasing this new version format, remixes of songs that were already released last year.

Mercurio B side contains 3 remixes.
Nikko Mavridis is in charge of the Dharma remix by Imal released on our Athena compilation. It offers us a more hypnotic interpretation, maintaining the particular voices that the original has inspired by Buddhaism.

Sayonara by Ignacio Berardi and Colou Befu remixed by Uruguayan artists Alex Efe and Diego Berrondo, bring us a progressive house version with a breakdown loaded with emotions and harmonies that characterize their productions.

Axel Zambrano returns to work with us after his appearance on our second release with a magnificent performance towards Lattuce Day, one of our first tracks on Droid9 South America created by Cris Rosales. Axel brings us groove and euphoria in an ideal version to keep the dance floor on fire.

Salski returns to the label with a slightly darker track than we are used to hearing when it comes to his production, but certainly a great track with melodic techno and progressive rhythms running through the cut. On Remix duties we have one of the most talented progressive faces today, Hobin Rude, while the great talent from Argentina, Federico Flores, is in charge of the second remix!
Absolutely great rhythmic section on all three tracks and a real progressive treat for all fans of the aforementioned sound!

Opening the month of September, Deepwibe Underground presents volume four of their XX remix series. Following on from the success of Sebastian Hass' new rendition of 'Surface' by Dmitry Molosh, the label invites Ric Niels to re-interpret 'Scaur' by Dmitry Molosh. Originally released in March of this year and remixed by EMPHI, the track earned support from John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Ezequiel Arias, Mariano Mellino, Nick Warren and more. Hailing from Argentina, Ric Niels has quickly risen to one of his country's most promising progressive house producers. Releases for Armadillo, Mango Alley and The Soundgarden sit as discography highlights, while world class DJs such as Nick Warren and Guy J continue to champion his sound.
