An artistic pairing with a rich musical heritage, Matt Rowan and Robbie Lowe light up Particles with "Luminary". Remixes come from renowned Latvian and Hungarian stars.

Matt Rowan and Robbie Lowe have been at the forefront of the underground dance movement for over 20 years. From their Australian homes, both have pursued an impressive career path that has led them to the highest echelons of the industry. Rowan's debut alongside fellow countryman, Jaytech, saw the duo in the record boxes of every discerning DJ in the mid 2000s with a string of hits for the likes of Hope, Only Records and Curvve. A double century of credits in the intervening years has seen Rowan become a regular on Proton Music and Particles with releases including 2012 "Basics" album and 2019's "Fools Only" EP. Similarly, Lowe has seen notable work for Low Pressings, while joining forces with Rowan on Baroque, Outta Limits and September 2019's "Actual" for Late Night Music. A debut Particles offering finds a typically strong groove-oriented affair shimmer with percussive intent as deeply textured pads and sumptuous keys shine brightly in uplifting melodic sequences. Building hypnotically to a breakdown crescendo, a heavy bassline adds weight and dancefloor credentials in perfect juxtaposition.

The pairing of Blood Groove and Kikis have been responsible for some of the finest moments of underground house music in the past decade. Highly prolific, the Latvian duo can claim over 500 production credits with over a century on the renowned Spring Tube. Moreover, an array of releases on Silk Music saw 2014's "Wonderland" album as career high point, while October 2019's "Close to You" continued their long association with the label. A May 2015 debut on Particles saw a remix of GMJ take centre stage while further reworkings of Andre Sobota, East Café and Rafa'EL have showcased talent in abundance. Returning once more, the Blood Groove and Kikis remix combines heavy beat and mesmerising percussive intent with familiar refrains from Rowan and Lowe's original, as a groove-laden arpeggio takes "Luminary" in a new direction that builds with emotive new motifs and production work. The result is another immaculately crafted affair in the Latvian duo's arsenal.

A name that has consistently remained in the minds of the musical cognoscenti, East Café has been a pioneer of the modern progressive house and breaks scene. With impeccable attention to detail and unrivalled production ability, almost 600 production credits have found their way onto the likes of Mistique Music, Balkan Connection and Sudbeat Music, supported by an A-list of Digweed, Cattaneo and Warren. A regular on Particles, 2016's "Indian Summer" and 2017's "False Visions" were impressive originals while remixes of Matan Caspi, Derek Howell and Matter are now further enhanced with a dynamic and driving reinterpretation of "Luminary". Bristling with rhythmic intent as pulsating pads and keys from the original make their mark, a new motif ripples across proceedings highlighting East Café's musical craftsmanship. Full of dancefloor power and layers of additional production work, the Hungarian is still very much at the peak of his powers.

Impressive DJs and producers in their own rights, Andrea Cassino & Greenage have both found themselves featured on a host of blue chip labels. With a career stretching back some 20 years, May 2017 saw Andrea Cassino's "Divine" hit Proton Music followed by remixes from Magitman and Deeparture. A Proton Music debutant, Greenage has found considerable success with a double century of production credits for the likes of Stellar Fountain, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley. Combining their considerable forces, the title track opens with a reverb-laden percussive top line before dancefloor-oriented bassline groove and heavy beat create a strong rhythmic framework. Building effortlessly with angelic vocal layers and wave-like pads, "Losing Part of Me" waxes and wanes through its different phases as a Tangerine Dream inspired arpeggio makes its presence felt at the breakdown and into the third movement. The result is a majestic piece of progressive house. "Agua of Life" continues the rich bassline groove as off-beat percussive hats make their play alongside rippling motifs that carry the cadenced melodic narrative of its predecessor. Vocal layers once again play their part as the track hits its stride in the second half with consummate ease and impressive craftsmanship.

A remarkable producer with almost 500 production credits to his name since a 2011 debut, Dmitry Molosh's star burns brightly in the underground dance firmament. His distinctive sound has won him fans and plaudits far beyond his native Belarus with support from Nick Warren, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo amongst others. A quartet of stellar remixes for Proton Music have included reworkings of Navid Mehr, Kastis Torrau and Trilucid & Phil Martyn while a debut original EP is set to follow. Returning with a typically impressive reworking of "Losing Part of Me", the Dmitry Molosh remix is an immaculate production that retains the head-shaking bassline character of the original while extending it through mirrored melodies that rise and fall with filtered ease. Layers of sound entwine in a multi-faceted sonic landscape that cleverly reinterprets Cassino and Greenage's central line, before exploding into the second half with dark dancefloor power and light melodic touch.

Cream & Deep Fog are mainstays of the progressive house scene with their distinctive sonic character and impressive production skills. Highly respected, hard-working DJs in their native Poland, the duo share over a century of production credits together with 2015's "Neverland" EP on Particles a notable highlight. A pair of remixes for Proton Music in the shape of interpretations of GMJ & Matter and Trilucid in 2018 and 2019 is now joined by a third. The Cream & Deep Fog remix of "Agua of Life" is a sumptuous reworking that revels in clever percussive layer and deep resonant kick that paves the way for the vocal layers from the original to lilt gently across proceedings alongside opulently textured pads. Evolving elegantly, the core melodic theme filters into sonic range, taking centre stage at the breakdown as additional production material from the duo's arsenal creates a dynamic and explosive second half.

Creating a powerful musical force with their original music plus remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Cream & Deep Fog, Andrea Cassino & Greenage are in no danger "Losing Part of Me".

onedotsixtwo keeps the worldwide progressive flame burning bright in 2020 with its latest release, bringing together the finest talent from 3 continents. Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of December is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Elegantly layered melodies float and flow with flawless precision, as his unique musical vision is showcased magnificently. Following on, The Miracle dives deeper with a wonderfully evocative percussive groove and equally blissful melodic layering that, once again, perfectly displays this Argentine artist’s immense talents to perfection. Having previously released on the likes of Balkan Connection, The Soundgarden and Movement, Sebastian Busto’s onedotsixtwo debut will be a 2020 highlight for sure.

The first December remix comes from Belarusian DJ/Producer Dmitry Molosh. Celebrated for his inimitable progressive sound, Dmitry is at the forefront of the new wave of the current scene as one of its most talented forward thinking electronic artists. His stunning remix is fuelled with funk and fire to create an utterly enthralling ride fuelled with rising anticipation and spine-tingling euphoric elation. 

Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.

The renowned Colombian DJ/Producer inaugurates Nature Rec's first release with a highest level piece. With flying arpeggios, feeling deep, trance's fine drops and a distinctive elegance, ''Jadhe'' will be a treasurable masterpiece without a doubt.

Always searching, exploring new melodic textures, and with a tribal touch, comes the first remix from label managers Leo Perez and Dhany G. A Panama-Cuba union, these major artists, who have been merging their sonorities since a while, concretize with Nature groove for an excellent caliber club track.

Anew from Colombia, comes the second remix from extremely talented Gux Jiménez, one of Cartagena's Progressive sound exponents nowadays. With special leads and distorted synths, Gux guides us between light and darkness, a midpoint in perfect balance, complemented by a solid rhythmic in constant motion.

Closing this sonorous tale, from Argentina, the great Santo Adriano up with EP's 3rd remix. Maintaining the essence, with freshness and a refined aesthetic, we may experiment a journey with minimalist streaks in a successful harmony with the groove. Santo connects and expands this launch's musical loop. Another gem from this collection.
