Alex Niggemann’s AEON label mirrors the peak time DJs sets that the supremely talented Berliner plays, staying focused on conjuring up the spirit of classic and timeless house and techno, updating it and creating new boundless possibilities for the future. Since launching the label in 2013 Alex has been gradually building a family of like-minded creative individuals to keep the AEON ethos moving ever forward.
This time it’s AEON 19, and yet another melodic milestone in which Niggemann welcomes back Denis Horvat to lead us on a journey into the territory of ambient, driving techno. Achiev- ing two original tracks, and a remix to suite his ever-growing trademark of deep, melodic sounds, Denis again showcases the true quality of what Alex’s label stands for.
‘Apart’ is a dark and eerie track that combines pulsing me- lodic synths with a dissonant array of percussion and FX. The track forever progresses, winding its way upward and downward throughout, with a defining change in atmospher- ics halfway through his electronic industrial fused journey.
Along with the original by Denis, Hyenah gives us his own spin on the dark fused sounds of Niggemann’s imprint.
Whilst following a similar driving, moody groove, he welcomes a fresh element of tribal grooves, along with a lighter array of pads and stabs that gives listeners a whole new approach to that of the original mix.
As with previous releases, it is customary with AEON releas- es, that the B-Side, in this case ‘Cougar’, takes things into deeper territory, with a rolling bass line and a deep percussive groove. Accompanied by sharp white syncopated hats, and a mesmerizing arpreggiated synth, this track certainly main- tains to build on the foundation in which Denis strives to work towards with his style and sound.
AEON is a home to cutting-edge artists who are bold enough to breathe life into their productions with true emotion. AEON stands for people who walk their own path, who dance just the way they feel, celebrating and being passionate about what they do without following hype, or rules, or trends.

Salam lovers, 
Finally I want to share my new track with you. As I told you I always wanted to produce an oriental western song where elements of the orient as also of the occident are melted together. Around a month ago my friend cagri came over to my homestudio with his Saz and we produced this track in a couple of hours. 
We tried to combine different elements like electric saz, distorted guitars  and different Sounds that evoke specific associations. The procedure for this track is different to my previous songs. For the first time I combined my preference for distorted guitars with influences from the folk dance Halay, which is typical for the Alevi and Kurdish culture.
Now it’s time to share this piece with you.
We hope you will enjoy this track and are thankful for everyone who wants to share our song.

As one of Japan’s most prolific electronic music producers, Hideo Kobayashi specializes in soulful deep house and floor-smashing techno. Back in March, he launched his own label to push these divergent sounds. Standard Music thus serves as a model for “quality, functional and beautiful” above all else! For its next release, RIWIN takes that sentiment to a whole new level. The Balinese musician and spiritual healer once played in popular Indonesian bands called Pahama and Tropical Transit. When not riffing with the latter, he can now be found mixing electronic music. Rising from his home studio, “Bali Cloud” gushes smooth atmos, soft percussion and balearic guitar.
