As part of Nick Muir's superlative "All One Word" release, we now include a second EP with a pair of outstanding remixes from UK dance music royalty, Trilucid.

Quickly becoming one of Proton's top-selling artists, Trilucid have been responsible for a host of 24-carat gold releases. Regulars on the likes of Black Hole, Colorize and Paul Thomas' UV, the UK duo have been regulars on Proton Music since a 2019 remix of Stas Drive saw a collaboration with Phil Martyn. Going on to release a quartet of original EPs between 2019 and 2023, "Glint", "Astral", "The Loved Are Never Lost" and "A Moment / Stratos" have showcased immaculate production skill and unrivalled talent.

Providing two separate reworkings of "All One Word", the ‘Midnight Mix' is a powerful variation that is the perfect companion to Nick Muir's dance music roots. A grooved bassline and house chords add club-friendly verve while a vocal sample provides a further retro vibe. Making innovative use of the original components, not least in the extended bass sequence with its roots in Muir's track, the resultant remix is an Ibiza anthem in waiting.

With its deeper, more considered sound, the "2 AM Mix" is thrust forward with a chest-thumping kick and driving 16th note bass pattern. Shakers and percussive vitality add further intensity while beautifully orchestrated pads and shimmering arpeggio add emotion and a classy touch. Hitting dancefloor heights with ease, Trilucid once again demonstrate their wide-ranging talent with a beautifully crafted affair that does nothing to diminish a growing reputation.

With the final say, Trilucid hit the mark once again with Nick Muir's "All One Word".

We are proud to be releasing the well-awaited UNS006 with the talented Binaryh.

“In the Immensity of Time" — as it is titled — tells the story of a celestial odyssey, a collision of mind against heart in the vastness of space, a light glimpsed in the deepest darkness. Through sound, Binaryh captures the moment when two becomes one, in the simplest of ways.

This EP is a dual tale told from two sides, starting off with "Sagan" and its rhythmic energy. Like a searchlight, the track wanders through foreign sounds and deep percussions, building euphonic momentum and seeking harmony in the void.

The answer to this burning call comes through the track "Druyan", which beautifully glides between a floating sense of peace and high-intensity peaks, with rolling waves of hard-hitting bass tying them together.

Like their brilliant namesakes (Carl Sagan & Ann Druyan), these two tracks work in tandem to find meaning in nothingness, orbiting around each other in a frenzied dance.

Citizen Kain’s remix of "Sagan" comes to complete this stellar narrative with a resounding sign-off. The vibrating, haunting track brings the EP to an end with a dark undertone and a driving tempo that unfolds with purposeful tension.

Give it a listen and embark on an obscure trek through outer space and an astral love for the ages.

'Beloved for his combination of groove and melody, Orsen returns to Cid Inc’s Replug Records for a new artist showcase. Hailing from the UK, but currently calling Austria home, Orsen has been one of his country’s premiere progressive house producers for the better part of a decade. On the strength of early tracks such as ‘Look Twice’ and ‘Gyre’, Orsen forged a relationship with Replug which has seen him develop into one of the label’s core artists, while also operating as its manager and A&R. Noted for his meticulous detail and timeless dance floor productions, Orsen's craft has continued to evolve since his 2015 debut, making each one of his creations an absorbing experience. Genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J have been steadfast with support along the way; while Balance, Mango Alley and Proton Music have also served as home’s for Orsen’s elusive sound. Now, following an eighteen month hiatus, Orsen returns to his comfortable home of Replug with a much-anticipated three-track showcase entitled ‘Night Visions’. 

Orsen’s craft shines through vividly on EP opener and title selection ‘Night Visions’. With a saga-like story to tell, its looping hypnotism and smooth rebounding rhythms are cleverly coaxed, making for a powerful club track that splits time between the energetic and emotive. Not without grandiose flair; it’s a big, bold and magnificent break which sits at the core of the journey, flowing through percolating arps and retro-overlays, tactfully building tension as waves of drums spearhead a pulsating finale. 

The space-dance foray 'Afterlight' follows and further cements Orsen's dancefloor minded ethos. Its neo-saccharine drive is anchored by rocketing beats and percussive rides, tastefully building to a wild-eyed intensity of prismatic arps and soaring synths. With an energy that exudes confidence, Orsen pulls from his expansive repertoire as the main break takes shape, infusing shimmering synth swagger with warm key-changing basslines for the ultimate dancefloor rush. 

Rounding out the release and sitting on a modern progressive perch of its own are the fresh aesthetics and eager optimism of ‘Hope'. Here, Orsen’s pristine design and dreamlike elegance conjure up utopian visions, while a bed of pulsating beats and swaying percussion provide a bridge into a thoughtful second act. Further revealing Orsen’s creative attitude, the feel-good interlude breaks into a rich textural rain of melodic colour, one where euphoria awaits with arms raised and eyes closed. 

Operating at the peak of his creative powers, Orsen continues to impress with his latest Replug offering, a three-track showcase where his melodic acumen is clear and gripping throughout.'
