We're going into the second round of remix extracts for Of Norway's 2014 album “Accretion”. Already the frst release with remixes by Adriatique and Lehar for the wonderful “Spirit Lights” was and still is a big success and we are sure the interpretation for “It's You” we will be equally successful.

The original is a Kraut-House epic with the haunting vocals of Norwegian singer Lois, and for us from Connaisseur one our favourites from the album.

Just like most tracks from Of Norway, “It's You” is an original predestined to be remixed.
First on the remix duties is Eric Volta, an artist we highly appreciate, mostly known for his releases on No.19 and Visionquest, as well as a bunch of amazing remixes. He is a thoroughbred musician and massive talent. His way of building up his tracks is extraordinary, he doesn't just tell stories with his tracks, he tells fairly tales. Mystic, surprising and touching is also his interpretation for “It's You”. We were (ohne almost) speechless when we we heard it for the frst time. A track for a special moment and perfect for Connaisseur. We are in love with it!

The second remix comes from The Drifter, the third man of the Maeve collective next to Mano Le Tough and Baikal. 2015 seems to be his year, as what he has delivered so far in the past months is pure bliss. His remix for “It's You” is further proof for his unstoppable rising success. With his interpretation he starts smoothly but quickly builds up an alluring tension, setting several freak-out moments for the club with his breaks. We are sure you will hear his wonderful version very often on the dancefoors in the next months.

The shimmering melody and the percussive flicker of Shiba create a solid amount forward thrust. In the context of NekliFF's new EP this direction leads us straight into a mental state very similar to a surreal dream. In no time, the track turns out to be a minimalist hypnosis trick. Inu has a very similar structure, but with its rolling bassline this tune digs even deeper. Keeping up this trend, NekliFF builds the title Soul around an enigmatic melody, creating a very spaced-out and trancy vibe. 'The Hamburg music artist and Deejay Manski succeed with his EP 'Transcendent' a happy litter - out of the commonplace of the electronic music world. Well tempered, polyphonic, spherical and with clear accents of Classical and Ethno.

Manski presents for about 15 minutes a mysterious world that inspires the deep sense through dancing. In three floating episodes the listener trots over three different ones, vast dream landscapes. Especially the fundamental and shapely sonance on dynamically changing tempi allows wonderful flights of fancy here in the solo style of classical instruments. The message of Manski is clear:
He is interested in creating the spectrum of the electronic music with his very own style and to use this with classical and analog musical instruments.'

First is ITAI, a world-class saxophonist, DJ, and producer who offers a hybrid live electronic performance. ITAI has been sharing the stage with leading artists such as Be Svendsen, Goldcap, Unders, MoM and more. ITAI collaborated with Matt Hill, an established prominent DJ and producer based in Southern California who is known for his mixing skills that have accumulated over the last 20 years. Hill is also a co-founder and curator of Love Underground, Like.Minded and is also an assistant coordinator for DeepAura.

ITAI & Matt Hill created a beautiful hypnotic melodic track called 'Baghdad' that takes the listeners on a journey straight into the desert.
Included with this track, we share with you remixes from 3 top-shelf producers. First, is the Spanish violin master - Alvaro Suarez who has also released music on Happy Camper, Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet and more. Second, is our first Moroccan ambassador and one of the hyped DJs of Europe ethnic deep house scene at the moment, Amine K, who released is music on Sol Selectas, Buddah Bar, Bar 25 and many other high appreciated labels.
