Canadian record label Strange Town Recordings is back with another beauty. This time it's fantastic new work from Melbourne-based Eric Lune who's specialized in emotive dance music. His productions vary from progressive to moody & melodic house music. 

Although a new project Eric’s productions are already turning heads with regular plays from industry heavyweights such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren & Cid Ink as well as releases on labels such as Timeless Moment and Sound Avenue just to name a couple.

Since making his label debut on 'Explorations 07’ back in 2018, Marsh has solidified himself as a firm label favourite and future star. Championed by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kölsch, and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1, Marsh now returns with his ‘Lost In You EP’.

Leading with ‘Lost In You’, Marsh lends his own vocal to the track, characteristically weaving a driving bass with groove-laden percussion. Next up, with its shivering arpeggios riffs and dreamlike atmospherics, the reminiscent ‘Gijpe’ gives a nod to the label’s inaugural ‘Explorations’ festival in Dhërmi last summer where Marsh performed on the secluded beaches of Albania’s Ionia Coast. A highlight from ‘Anjunadeep 11’ earlier in the year, Marsh closes the EP with another meticulously crafted melodic cut with the piano-led ‘Human’.

Last February 2020 before we were all sent into confinement due to this Covid-19 pandemic my way of communicating with you has been making bootlegs and special edits from tracks or soundtracks that influenced me in a way. 

Late in the 20th Century, Ridley Scott crafted a film that would become a landmark of science fiction.  Blade Runner is, at it's heart, a story about what it means to be human in the future based in huge corporations with controlled and impoverished masses.  Does this sound familiar to you???
This is my tribute to the final and iconic track of this masterpiece done by the master Vangelis.

Vangelis - End Titles (Simply City Rework)

Galestian debuts on Manual Music after his successful releases on Perfecto, Perspectives and Click Records to name a few. L'Amour is a sensual yet intense track that borders between the melodic, progressive and deep house genres. Next to the beautiful original it comes in remix versions by a couple of infamous Dutch producers: Alex O'Rion and Formel.

Alex O'Rion can't do wrong at the moment with one release after another hitting the charts and labels lining up to work with him. He adds his trademark dosage of groove and warmth, giving Galestian's original a lovely original interpretation.

The Formel guys are known for their releases on labels such as Last Night On Earth, Sincopat and Einmusika amongst others. They provide a more rough and peak time melodic approach which will make this release appealing to an even wider audience.

Get ready for Peace Peter’s newest release. After ‘Shifted Frequencies’ by Felix Raphael and Yannek Maunz made its way to become one of our most successful releases to date, it will now be followed by a grandiose remix EP featuring respective reworks by the immensely talented and well established Kellerkind and Niko Schwind. They both send the track on a transformative journey to the dancefloor with harder hits and a dance factor turned all the way to eleven. Despite the circumstances, news like this remind us that this can still become a great summer.

MEL BELL:
Was born on Dec. 8th 1976. Since early childhood she developed her passion for music. She started on a carillon, where she created her own tunes and melodic creations.
Her biggest passion were instruments with keys like accordion and keyboard, that she has been practicing for many years. In the early 90's, fascinated by the young techno scene, her focus shifted towards electronic musical devices, which quickly led to her DJ-Mixer, Turntables, CD player and more modern, technical equipment.
After recording her first mixed tapes, she quickly landed gigs in various clubs in Hamburg, Germany. She was also booked on several radio stations. Over the years she continued to grow, and began producing her own music.
She graduated at the SAE Institute with a degree in audio engineering and finished an apprenticeship as energy electronics technician.
She completed numerous projects, including classical recordings.
Over the last years following, she released her tracks on established national and international labels for electronic music including SOSO Hamburg, Asymmetric Recordings, RunAfter Records, ADRO Records, Guava, Bullfinch and the well-known label Pipe & Pochet.
Her strengths lie in the development of melodies, and creating that special groove. She finds that perfect harmony when selecting the order to play her mixed DJ-Sets.
She is curious to see what the future holds for her. With excitement and passion she remains true to herself and keeps her focus on what matters most: Electronic Music.

We are delighted to announce the debut EP from rising Italian duo Earthlife on Timeless Moment.

The title single “lost in New York’,  with vocals from the melodic house & techno vocalist queen Eleonora, is a true journey that literally puts you in a ‘trance state’. Close your eyes and let yourself get lost with Eleonora’s silk vocal theme while you get totally immersed with the strongly emotive arpeggio harmonies from Earthlife. 

On Remix duties for ‘Lost in New York’ we have label boss Morttagua putting his trademark bass line on his remake, adding peak time dance floor powerhouse to this timeless gem.  

‘Universo’ is the second track of the EP, with heavy support from none other than Tale of Us.  Powerful kick bass drums, dirty analog synths and amazing percussion work makes Universo a perfect pick for a nights climax. 

Finishing this amazing EP we have the deep and melodic ‘Heart’. Full of emotion and beautiful melodies, Heart is a perfect track to listen and chill on a sunrise or sunset. The hypnotic atmospheres and soft groove makes this tune perfect for more chilled sets or to give that finishing set vibes when used on the end of a longer set.  Simply amazing!
