Kamai Music announces its 17th release featuring both new talent and established artists from all corners of the globe. “Visions” has wonderful variety encompassing a multitude of genres from organic ethnic vibes to techy dancefloor bangers. Some stories are best told without words: Mikaji aka the often creative steerman of the triple-gold and vibe-certified production powerhouse gishfang presents Jéricho – a sonic journey through the Middle East, shaped during a road trip across the West Bank of Palestine. This track blends live-recorded mystical flutes and strings on a downtempo beat into an evocative soundscape, reflecting on beauty, history, and hope. The cover art, by Gaza-born artist Malak Mattar, comes from her Seeking Peace series – now more poignant than ever. With Malaks blessing, her powerful work accompanies this release.

The track list is a journey itself, going from South American mid tempo, to Shamanic downtempo, to Middle Eastern deep house, to Latin tribal house, to Playa tech, to Ambient cumbia dub. 

Each song represents the multicultural influences of the artists, and shows the diversity of the Sol Selectas sound.  

The artwork by Helia Jamali visualizes the themes of summer and sunshine together perfectly.  This compilation will be released on the 1st day of the Summer Solstice - June 21st. 2016. "
