Essa busca por "um cantinho" no mundo reflete a situação do Coco Raízes de Arcoverde, que encontra severas dificuldades para manter sua sede, no sertão pernambucano.

In the last year, Dynacom and Bodai have become two of Buenos Aires’ foremost light bearers. The couple’s fledgling imprints, Auditen Music and AMITABHA, continually grace the sets of their countryman Hernan Cattaneo. The latter, celestially themed label now welcomes its second artist from outside Argentina. Based in Missouri, USA, Masserné burst onto the prog house scene in 2017. Several releases on the Abstract Space family of labels later, he delivers the gorgeous “Temple Cedres.” Like mighty trees rising from earth, the title track swells with organic atmosphere.

A thoughtful new label project, Conscious Expansion offers new perspectives in the hope of opening minds. For its first release, owner and manager Othon reimagines the music of a modern-day medicine woman. The London-based DJ, producer and Papa Loko promoter now delivers a "transcendent and soul-expanding” rendition of Brazilian songwriter Josii Yakecan. Honoring divine femininity and the power of waterfalls, Othon’s “Mamãe Oxum” remix features bellowing beats, ominous instrumentation and expressive vox. All proceeds benefit Amazon Watch, a charitable organization that strives to "protect the rainforest and advance the rights of indigenous peoples in the Amazon Basin."

As one of Japan’s most prolific electronic music producers, Hideo Kobayashi specializes in soulful deep house and floor-smashing techno. Back in March, he launched his own label to push these divergent sounds. Standard Music thus serves as a model for “quality, functional and beautiful” above all else! For its next release, RIWIN takes that sentiment to a whole new level. The Balinese musician and spiritual healer once played in popular Indonesian bands called Pahama and Tropical Transit. When not riffing with the latter, he can now be found mixing electronic music. Rising from his home studio, “Bali Cloud” gushes smooth atmos, soft percussion and balearic guitar.
