Izzet is a Russian producer whose career began with NewBorn Records in 2010. Nine years and several credits later, Particles continues to foster his atmospheric, progressive style. The first of surely many EPs to come, “Summer Goodbye” succeeds a Rafa’EL remix and two original comp appearances to include Bside “Timer Set.” Remixing the title track, Bluum, a FSOE UV fave, began the year alongside countryman BUDD for mau5trap. While not much beats deadmau5’ blessing, Particles proudly presents the UK native's equally momentous debut remix. Through powerful percussion and distinctive arpeggios, it skillfully preserves the original's soothing melancholy.

Originally released in February, “Shining” by Rick Pier O'Neil lit up Winter Particles 2019. The Proton flagship label now revisits the lustrous single by welcoming back Bluum! Known for productions under his given name, Steve Haines, the UK based progressive house artist has become a driving force behind Paul Thomas’ UV. Over one year since debuting the new alias, a decade of credits (most of which belong to his mate’s aforementioned imprint) sits prominently alongside the Bluum name. His next remix's analogue bassline and scythe-like arpeggio dance gracefully across the audio spectrum.

At the "crossroads of shape, sound and expression," United Colors of Rhythm offers a new perspective on electronic music. For the second time in less than a year, the imprint loads its pallet with many shades of Indie Dance! The second volume of its self-titled comp features both foreign and familiar talents. Eclectic roster addition Nova Materia closes the release with “Speak in Tongues.” Utilizing the original’s "found sounds," ALI X x XIMENA also make their label debut. As the founding member of Azari & III, Ali’s roots mixing house and rock certainly run deep. The duo’s remix thus evokes grainy synths, eerie vox and more lively instrumentation.

As one of Japan’s most prolific electronic music producers, Hideo Kobayashi specializes in soulful deep house and floor-smashing techno. Back in March, he launched his own label to push these divergent sounds. Standard Music thus serves as a model for “quality, functional and beautiful” above all else! For its next release, RIWIN takes that sentiment to a whole new level. The Balinese musician and spiritual healer once played in popular Indonesian bands called Pahama and Tropical Transit. When not riffing with the latter, he can now be found mixing electronic music. Rising from his home studio, “Bali Cloud” gushes smooth atmos, soft percussion and balearic guitar.

The label now presents one of its most "authentic” offerings yet. “Possible Worlds” illustrates the evolution of a true legend. Thanks to classics like “Sacred Cycles” and “Wavespeech,” Pete Lazonby is synonymous with the early 90’s rave scene. Decades later, he sheds those dark, progressive labels in favor of more refined tastes. Classified as Hip-Hop / R&B, “Professor Firefly” ends Padre's debut album on a very playful note.
