'For our 34th release on Juicebox Music, we have a 2-track collaborative EP between two fantastic Argentinian producers - Berni Turletti & Matias Chilano, both consistently pushing the progressive space with pure passion. Relatively newer to the scene, Berni Turletti's appearance on Nick Warren's "The Soundgarden" & "Hope Recordings" (through his EP with Dimuth K) as well as Antrim's "Or Two Strangers" cemented his place as a force to be reckoned with. Returning back to Juicebox Music, after his remix of "Monojoke - Backwards", the more veteran Matias Chilano's decade long discography needs no real introduction with standout associations on Tash's "Movement Recordings", "Proton Music" & "Particles". Recently, not one, but two of Matias' remixes went on to feature in Patrice Baumel's GU42 Berlin on mighty Global Underground, a monumental milestone for any.

Berni Turletti & Matias Chilano put their strengths to the table to deliver a balanced combination of their signature sounds in the form of "Alumine" & "Forgettable", filled with solid low-end grooves, soaring leads & spacey atmospherics. Joining the pack as the only remixer is another returning artist from our roster - Anton MAKe, whose remix of Michael A's "Endless Time" was one of the best ways we could close 2018. Anton's equally impressive catalog features an impressive list of associations including Cid Inc & Orsen's "Replug", Mango's "Mango Alley" & Milos' "Balkan Connection" to name a few. Anton's version on "Alumine" heads towards a more deeper & hypnotic space but loaded with tension for the main melody to shine through, rounding off the release in a classy manner.'

Opening track 'Savana' summons up big desert skies and open roads with its sweeping arrangement, full of warm organic textures and chilled deep house flavor.

Argentinian producer and one half of Dee Keepers, Hernan Cerbello turns in a typically high-integrity deep house remix, creating a powerful rolling groove.

Second original cut 'Dog Walker' is a lush, arpeggiated slice of melodic house music, full of energy and movement.

Last but not least, Istanbul duo Kaan Koray complete our package with an atmospheric, shimmering version of 'Dog Walker' that evolves beautifully throughout.

Eclectic roster addition Nova Materia closes the release with “Speak in Tongues.” Utilizing the original’s "found sounds," ALI X x XIMENA also make their label debut. As the founding member of Azari & III, Ali’s roots mixing house and rock certainly run deep. The duo’s remix thus evokes grainy synths, eerie vox and more lively instrumentation.

As one of Japan’s most prolific electronic music producers, Hideo Kobayashi specializes in soulful deep house and floor-smashing techno. Back in March, he launched his own label to push these divergent sounds. Standard Music thus serves as a model for “quality, functional and beautiful” above all else! For its next release, RIWIN takes that sentiment to a whole new level. The Balinese musician and spiritual healer once played in popular Indonesian bands called Pahama and Tropical Transit. When not riffing with the latter, he can now be found mixing electronic music. Rising from his home studio, “Bali Cloud” gushes smooth atmos, soft percussion and balearic guitar.

Balkan Connection South America hasn’t skipped a beat since 2008. In fact, it's maintained a monthly schedule ever since! The Argentinian label’s remarkable 433rd release now welcomes back Francesco Pico. Nearly one year after “Smoothie," the Dutchman delivers another glistening original track. East Cafe also continues a long-awaited comeback to the Balkan Connection family. Like a summer remix of Isaac Differding, the Hungarian applies distinctive "refinement, detail and depth” to “Running in the Cloud.”

The latest release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes NAHS to the label for his debut single. The Argentinean artist began the year with a stand out release on Soundteller Records. Remixed by Matias Chilano and Fabri Lopez it put the Buenos Aires resident firmly in the minds of progressive music fans. Now embarking on just his second official single, NAHS lands on Dopamine While with ‘Green Jungle' alongside remixes from Analog Jungs, Nishan Lee and Pedro Capelossi.

Beginning with the original mix NAHS continues to show he's a rising star in the world of progressive house. Deep and pulsating from the outset, waves of undulating bass power the foundation, while clattering percussion and wispy effects surround the framework. Muted tones add a luminous glow before eventually melting down into a vocal led break. Mysterious and compelling, the ghostly wails elevate mood across the centrepiece, before smoothly segueing into a spiritual finale.

The first interpretation of ‘Green Jungle' is provided by Analog Jungs who make their label debut. Based in Cordoba, the Argentinean duo have become favourites of progressive music tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo, while showcasing their music on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Antrim's Or Two Strangers. Now following a remix for Clubsonica, Analog Jungs deliver a stunning take on ‘Green Jungle'. Anchored by a warm, rippling groove and detailed percussion, there's a smooth yet electric mood from the outset. Emotion and flow are at a premium, with vocal fragments, aquatic arps and waning tones converging for a cinematic style break, before a quick and timely build ushers in a purring finale.

Providing the second interpretation of ‘Green Jungle' is one of Sri Lanka's finest Nishan Lee. Asymmetric Recordings, Juicebox Music, Movement Recordings and Strange Town Recordings have played host to Nishan's unique take on progressive music, and he now makes his Dopamine White debut in style with a superb remix here. The infectious energy which made the original so compelling translates quite well, albeit in a darker, more techno inspired context. A punishing low end, electric lines and lively cadence make for a powerful hypnotic drive, while the main break shifts mood with an eerie, processed take on the vocal motif.

Rounding out the release and providing the third and final interpretation of ‘Green Jungle' is Pedro Capelossi. Hailing from Brazil but now based in Barcelona Spain, Pedro has been a fixture of the progressive music underground since February of 2018. Releases on Balkan Connection, Droid9, One Of A Kind and Soundteller Records have made him one of the genre's top up and comers. Now continuing that rising momentum Pedro provides a groovy interpretation of ‘Green Jungle'. Adding further variety to the release, the Barcelona resident takes a deeper approach with a spacious groove and resounding rhythms. A less distinct take on the vocal theme draws you into its meditative qualities, as dubbed out rhythms and redolent motifs merge in the ultimate sonic marriage. An inspired interpretation from Pedro which caps off another excellent release for Nikko.Z's Dopamine White. Don't miss it.
