DAYDREAMn, a DJ and producer instrumental in the building blocks of today's electronic music scene in the Southeast US by his involvement in seminal clubs like The Edge and Early Festivals like Zen, proudly releases his next EP ‘Azure’ on Pro B Tech. 

A simple, elegant release perfect for both daytime dreaming and nighttime dancing, the original mix is an aquatic downtempo track with glimmering electronic sounds to simulate the brightness of light reflecting in the sea. Also featuring a remix by Hernan Cattaneo and Martin Garcia, their rework of 'Azure' takes on a much darker tone with a minimalistic vibe but still maintains the sparkle of the original.

Award-winning DJ and producer and ever-present in the upper echelons of dance music fraternity for over 15 years, Pole Folder is an iconic figure of global renown. With DJ appearances across the globe, the classically trained musician has a unique ability to fill dance-floors with cross-genre appeal while a production portfolio tells a similar story of global appeal. Through his own Reworck imprint and an era-defining album on John Digweed's Bedrock that gave rise to countless appearances on TV and radio, further work saw the Belgian mixing the "Sudbeats II" compilation for Hernan Cattaneo's imprint. A regular on Proton Music since a 2006 debut, Pole Folder now returns after a successful remix of Michael A in December 2017. "A Glimpse Into The Past" is a glorious piece, redolent in exquisite melodies and intricately crafted percussive flair. Rippling motifs build in intensity in front of a soft and hypnotic arpeggio as sumptuous pads create a depth and texture. Hitting its stride, post-breakdown, the culmination of dominant beat and counterpoint melodic lead create a wonderful aural vision.

Joining a host of Australian talents, Retza is a name that oozes craft and quality. A successful DJ at events including Rainbow Serpent Festival and Let Them Eat Cake in his home country, appearances in Berlin and North America have rubber-stamped a growing reputation. His music signed to some of the industry's finest imprints including, All Day I Dream, Kindisch and UONE's Beat and Path, Retza's music has been supported by a host of leading names including Jamie Stevens, Lee Burridge and Kasey Taylor. Making his Proton Music debut, the Retza remix is a wonderfully created work that sensitively takes the leading elements of Pole Folder's work and sculpts them into new and vibrant directions courtesy of a stripped-back beat and ticking percussive groove. These then form the foundations for layers of counterpoint melodic motifs to fully express themselves in freeform glory across the near-nine-minute track. With its warm and complex bassline adding further depth, Retza's is a dazzlingly intelligent reworking.

Maddy Hughes is another Australian firmly making his presence felt upon a global stage through his Funkform moniker. Out of his home "in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns", he has been a regular on the Open Records imprint. From 2011's "Middleman" debut to 2017's "Synthesia", Funkform's original work has been key with additional releases for Vapour Recordings, Stellar Fountain and City Life all playing host to the trademark Funkform sound. Now debuting on Proton Music with a typically impressive reworking of Pole Folder, Hughes transforms "A Glimpse Into The Past" into a dynamic, groove-driven offering that excels with a searing lead line that cuts through his remix like a hot knife through butter. Building in intensity throughout with intricate percussive top line, beautiful piano phrasing ripples outwards at the mid-point as a series of effects and motifs create a wonderful question and answer tension that is a tribute to Pole Folder's original.

With a "Glimpse Into The Past" wonderfully represented by debuts from Retza and Funkform, Pole Folder's future glows incandescent.

Perspectives Digital presents 6 new tracks by 8 artists from 5 different countries, curated by Darin Epsilon to celebrate the annual Amsterdam Dance Event, regarded as the "world's largest festival and business conference for electronic music". 

With over 300 production credits to his name, Kamilo Sanclemente has been a regular on PD since his debut in 2015.  Collaborating here with Dabeat, the duo's "Cosmosphere" is a beautifully constructed track that combines intricately programmed rhythm and tightly-locked bass to superb melodic elements.  Gently pulsating pads entwine with stepped arpeggio sequence while a flowing freeform motif provides organic and unscripted magic.  The result in another slice of progressive heaven from the two Colombians.

"Cyprus based duo first appeared on the Greek imprint in July of 2017 with a contribution to the label's ‘Technical Progress, Vol. 7' collection. May of 2018 saw the much loved duo return with a well received remix of SEQU3L's ‘Jelly Bells'. 2019 has seen Paul and Don continue to rise with steady support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, along with key releases on Clubsonica Records, Dopamine Music and Soundteller Records. Now embarking on the most anticipated project of their career, Paul and Don return to Movement Recordings for their debut EP alongside remixes from Supacooks and Reig (FR).

Beginning with ‘Entrance of the Underworld' moves into darker territory with a boundless groove, charged rhythms and clusters of devilish percussion. Aptly titled, it's both foreboding and mysterious with a flair for the dramatic, particularly across an expansive and hugely impactful break. Rough, rugged and full of amazing sonic artefacts, it's a centrepiece to unite your crowd before taking them to euphoria's top floor.

At the companion piece ‘Hephaestus', Paul & Don explore the peak time progressive sensibility that they've become so loved for. It's tough, rolling groove is perfectly carved, adorned with fiery percussion and timely chord changes. Smooth and emotive across the first act, eventually leading to a buzzing break where a bed of sizzling electronics elevates tension and mood, before a classy peak sparks an epic finale. 

The lone interpretation on 'Entrance of the Underworld comes by Supacooks. 

The release concludes The lone interpretation of ‘Hephaestus' is provided by Reig who makes his label debut. Residing in Corsica, the French artist has been crafting a unique brand of melodic techno since first appearing in 2013. Releases on Aftertech Records, Steyoyoke and Traüm Schallplatten highlight his discography, while he remains a prominent figure in his country's nightlife, having performed alongside Agoria, N'to, Worakls, Etienne de Crécy and Simian Mobile Disco. With a nod to the Portuguese word ‘Obrigado’ (thanks) and the wider collective of people and influences who allow the magic to happen, Argentinian duo Brian Harrison and Martin Kasall created Brigado Crew in 2012, and have been making waves in the electronic music scene ever since.

Fusing the power of techno with playful percussion, ‘Farah’ lures you in with solid basslines and circular crescendos. Gentle piano is complemented by spacey synths, building to gentle peaks but always retaining substance.

Like the mountain systems of Central Asia, ‘Hindu Kush’ travels you from the depths of the valley to a peaky zenith. Ubbah brings his characteristic deeper, darker influence to this track, maintaining Brigado Crew’s complex rhythms and mystical vocals.

Potently profound melodies woven with compelling strings are tempered by ritualistic percussion in ‘Jena.’ Driving synths are the perfect foil for the lighter, more organic elements of this captivating track.

Paradoxical yet paradaisic, we give thanks for the gift that is ‘Jena:’ a multifarious EP which, in only three tracks, delivers urgent, organic dynamism.

Brigado Crew feat. Guille Sniezyk - Jena [Snippet]

A regular on Proton Music with his distinctive original music, Rudy and his "All Things Fade" EP first hit the label in March 2019. After remixes from high-profile stars including Jamie Stevens and Mark Slee, Particles now sees its own release with new remixes from UK and Italian producers.

Steve Haines has been at the forefront of the dance music scene for over two decades with a huge global following, over 400 production credits and support from a 'Who's Who' of A-list DJs that includes Sasha and Paul Oakenfold. Transferring this kudos to a different production moniker is no mean feat but with his Bluum pseudonym, Haines has quickly generated significant success and impressive traction. Moreover, a clutch of original tracks on the Paul Thomas run UV, part of Aly and Fila's Future Sound of Egypt label family, has seen Bluum establish a host of new admirers and blue-chip play from Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond and Matt Darey among others. Moreover, JOOF, mau5trap and Mango Alley have all played host to the Bluum sound since early 2018.

A pair of remixes for Izzet and Rick Pier O'Neil in January and July 2019 saw Bluum open his Particles account as he now returns for a third outing. With a laidback percussive groove, the Bluum remix of "Real You" provides a smooth and flowing framework from which Rudy's beautiful melodic elements continue to shine. A rasping bassline gradually evolves in open-filtered intensity alongside a hypnotic new arpeggio that adds new dynamism, while a host of new production material shows Bluum at the height of his powers.

A 2019 newcomer to the underground dance scene, Davide Ferrario has quickly made a name for himself. A debut on atish and Mark Slee's Manjumasi with the stylish twin-track "Lullabies" EP, saw the Italian hit the heights in April with elegant deep house vibes, backed by exceptional remixes from Bengal and Nitin. November saw Ferrario feature on My Other Side of the Moon with the wonderful "Drops" as he now debuts on Particles with a first-ever remix.

Reworking the title track, a stripped-back percussive top line encases Rudy's wonderful flowing piano lines in a crisp rhythmic shell. Rising and falling with ease the beautiful motifs are enhanced with Davide Ferrario's new production work adding a new dimension and additional phrasing to the original. A driving beat and subtle bassline add depth and power in an interpretation that promises a very bright future for the Milanese artist.

Remixes from Bluum and Davide Ferrario have provided a bright, shining future for Rudy and "All Things Fade".
