In a single year, AMITABHA has assembled quite an impressive roster. Its managers, Dynacom and Bodai, headline a host of rising stars. Regularly touting South American talent, the label now heads to Canada. As half of The Gulf Stream, Jerome Guilleaume is very familiar with live instrumentation. His skills with analogue and modular synths make BSLC an exciting new project. Debuting on the Argentinian imprint, “Outspaced” wavers between progressive, ambient and downtempo vibes. A 4x4 doesn’t even take hold until after its four-minute mark!

Named after a celestial buddha, Amitabha Records beams “Infinite Light.” Its next release, “There for the Winter,” radiates more divine sensations! The Argentine label now welcomes a rising countryman. Based in Villa Mercedes, Fabri Lopez claims formal training among other influences. National icons like Hernan Cattaneo and Fernando Ferreyra also helped mould his sound. Utilizing progressive design, the single features poignant strings, angelic vox and subtle chords.

AMITABHA brings hope to a world in turmoil. Casting rays of “Endless Light," its next release welcomes back a seasoned countryman. DJ Paul (AR) has been a fixture in the Buenos Aires club scene for nearly two decades. Sharing the booth with Hernan Cattaneo, he quickly flourished as a DJ and, later, producer. The manager of Metro 95.1 now presents another big track! Beginning with tonic chords, “Vomir” makes use of shuffling percussion and dazzling melodies.

The story behind AMITABHA reveals lots about its co-founder, Bodai. Managed alongside her partner, Dynacom, the label stems from a deep connection to nature. It now supplies ample sunlight for “when your day gets gray!” Hinging on that very refrain, “Delicate” explores a different side of Gisele's repertoire. Tender sensibilities, like mellow chords, wispy vox and soft piano lines, emerge most prominently on the Original Mix.
