Paul Losev returns on 90watts hot on the heels of delivering a stellar remix for Hansgod's Splasher single.

The Miami based producer has made name for himself with releases on Where The Shadow Ends, Be Adult Music and Manual Deep to name a few. He's known for his emotionally charged yet delicate warm melodies, and that's exactly what you'll be hearing when you'll listen this his brand new single 'That Time'.

On remix duties, Erdi Irmak adds a bit of funky flavor to the mix. Keeping the melodic organic feel of the original close to his chest, but adding a very infectious guitar loop and some additional strings, his version is a great addition to Paul's lovely original!

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas welcomes a new organic house EP from imprint favourite Namito, which also includes a collaborative remix by Shan Nash and Rebeat.

Namito is an Iranian artist currently living in Berlin and he is internationally respected for his uplifting style that blends enchanting melodies and deep atmospherics with flowing percussion. Along with numerous releases on Sol Selectas he has also featured tracks and remixes on other scene-leading record labels such as Bedrock, Bar 25, Katermukke, Global Underground and Embassy One.

Sol Selectas fans need little introduction to Namito's iconic 2019 track "Stone Flower" as it was a chart-topping success that remains one of the record label's most popular tracks to date.

Shan Nash and Rebeat are Iranian artists collaborating together for the first time, and both are respected solo artists that have been making waves as talented producers. Shan Nash is known for dropping organic house tracks via Cafe De Anatolia, Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet as well as Shango Records. Rebeat produces in styles ranging from deep house to melodic techno, featuring on labels ranging from Kosa to Dubfire's SCI+TEC.

"Legend" opens the release with an earthy conga loop, shuffling high-end percussion and a deep bassline that's rich in sub-bass. The shimmering pads and haunting vocals build towards an epic breakdown with spellbinding Iranian lyrics, then there is a lift in energy when the percussion hits back in.

Shan Nash and Rebeat's remix of "Legend" adds a new pulsating bassline and a techy percussion loop that gives their version a hypnotic groove. Stripping back the synths so the drums and vocals become the main focus, it's an up-tempo rework that is tailored to the dance floor.

The cover by Helia Jamali portrays an old legend carrying blossoming branches, traversing across the mountains of destiny, into the unknown.

'Jacob Groening's record label, Kamai Music, drops a new organic house EP from K2W0 which also features remixes by SAQIB, Lost Boy and Jacob Groening.

K2W0 is an emerging talent from London, UK who has been turning heads with exquisite releases on Magician On Duty, MONADA, KataHaifisch and Talpa Records. His style blends poignant melodies with trippy atmosphere and flowing percussion. He is a well-travelled DJ and producer whose music takes influence from the different cultures he has experienced.

SAQIB is an American artist from Brooklyn who has a stripped-back and techy sound with immersive atmosphere. He has featured his downtempo style on labels ranging from Sabo's Sol Selectas to BLOND:ISH's Abracadabra Music.

Lost Boy is a Canadian artist whose sound fuses dreamscape melodies and lush organic sounds with shuffling percussion rhythms to create downtempo house with uplifting atmosphere. His music takes influence from his Asian heritage and he has featured on record labels such as Bar 25, Kosa and Sol Selectas.

Jacob Groening is an internationally respected artist from Germany who regularly travels the world as a headline DJ. His eclectic sound ranges from downtempo electronic to melodic house and everything in between. He is also a talented producer who along with releasing via his own Kamai Music has also worked with Earthly Delights, The Gardens of Babylon, Cosmic Awakenings and 3000 Grad Records.

"Aint No Sunshine" is a jazz-inspired track which fuses a sensual saxophone sample with soulful vocals washed in psychedelic effects. Built upon an acid bassline and framework of upbeat percussion, it's a forward-thinking piece of dance floor orientated music with timeless elements.

SAQIB's indie dance remix of Aint No Sunshine adds a chunky new bassline and dramatic snare hits. Removing the saxophone, it focuses on the original's vocals and a sparkling new melody synth.

Jacob Groening's remix of Aint No Sunshine is a restructured version of the original with a stripped-back sound that removes the saxophone, which unfolds with a purposeful precision that transforms the track into a streamlined version that's perfect for DJ use.

"Sometimes" has chopped-up guitar chords that fade in and out to create a lo-fi groove that's accompanied by a fluttering saxophone, poignant piano chords and bluesy vocal phrases. The sequenced percussion creates a solid foundation that ties the parts together while filling the track with forward momentum.

Lost Boy's remix of Sometimes is a refined version that pushes back the original's guitar to create a deep atmosphere where the vocals have space to take centre stage. It's a stripped-back version with the addition of an uplifting synth melody that's introduced in the second half of this light and breezy remake.'

So Cold So Sweet was produced in March 2020 when the lockdown started in NYC. It is the first of many tracks that became a lockdown album... exploring new sounds in complete isolation from the rest of the world. With no idea if we would ever even see each other again. 

So Cold So Sweet is based on an American jazz standard, 'St. James Infirmary Blues', which is of uncertain origin. It has many different versions. Loosely, it tells the tale of a soldier who has returned from war to find his lover in the infirmary - so cold, so sweet, and so pale... and then you have to iisten to know the rest of the story

Flow Music is back with the 10th release on its record label, and it's celebrating double figures with an epic melodic house EP featuring enchanting original music by Amir Telem, plus remixes from Nōpi and Soul Button.

Amir Telem is an Israeli artist whose broad tastes cover a full range of melodic styles ranging from indie dance to progressive house. An accomplished DJ and talented producer, Amir Telem's style fuses invigorating melodies with expansive atmosphere and crisp percussion to create tracks and remixes released by the likes of Bar 25, 3000 Grad Records, Pipe & Pochet, Joof and Armada.

On remix duty, Nōpi is a Ukrainian artist known for his deep and uplifting releases on Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream and Do Not Sit. He is a talented young producer whose organic style warms the heart, mind and soul.

Also providing a remix, Soul Button is a German artist who plays headline DJ sets across Europe and further afield. He describes his melodic style as ethereal techno as its angelic atmosphere and driving percussion are truly spine-tingling. His own record label Steyoyoke is the main outlet for his original tracks, but he has provided remixes for other labels including the likes of Einmusika Recordings.

"Laws of Detachment" is an uplifting track with shuffling percussion and angelic vocal samples, and Soul Button’s remix works in extra synths that build suspense and lift the intensity. "Radesh" is second of the two originals and it has fluttering melodies layered with dramatic stabs to create a monumental sound. Nōpi's remix of Radesh softens the original by adding a tranquil vibe that contrasts with the upbeat percussion to create a mesmerising version that's perfect for the dance floor.

Lifted from his acclaimed debut LP ‘Breathing’, Ben and Malou’s ‘Lost In Mind’ receives a pair of new reworks. First up, leading with a percussive-heavy groove, Volen Sentir’s ‘Vision’ emphasises the heartfelt vocals, with hypnotic melodies and soothing pads, whilst their ‘Interpretation’ features a syncopated bass rhythm accompanied with an atmospheric string solo.

Ben Böhmer & Malou - Lost In Mind (Volen Sentir Vision)

Sheldon Thompson AKA Sid Le Rock has been at the forefront of quality electronic music for almost a decade now. Originally hailing from the Northern extremes of Ontario, Canada, his search for meaning led him to discover techno in it’s spiritual home, Detroit, before moving to musical hotbed Toronto and finally settling in the Berlin where he now resides.

Thompson’s music to date has been released through some of the best labels around including Shitkatapult, Mute, Ladomat 2000 and of course My Favorite Robot Records for whom he debuted early in 2012. Now Sheldon looks forward to his fourth Sid Le Rock album due on MFRR in April of this year and as part of the build up sees here the release of lead single ‘Foreign Love’.
