The deep techno of "Rose" is delicious. The percussion is crisper, almost thicker, and totally enveloped by a dense blanket of soothing bass. Dubby elements and FX dance around as automated synths grow more elaborate. But it's the bread-and-butter breakdown that allows for the biggest moment on the EP: a swelling riser punctuated by a tidy drop—a return to main floor mechanics that is highly satisfying.
