EKLEKTISCH 63rd release coming from Kapibara with “Macaca” EP.

For this EP, the dutch duo felt influenced by wildlife: “we aim at a wide array of fascinating sounds: sometimes dark and deep, sometimes colorful and ecstatic. Almost all our original tracks have been given (scientific) animal names. For this EP we've chosen Macaca, a cheeky monkey, and Mittrei, a colorful Butterfly”.

The No Distance guys are back on Truesounds Music with a new 3 tracker!

The title track TENET is a hypnotic journey on solid grounds. Its break with the reversed synth trick is a real mind twister!

The 2nd track HYPERION has an even deeper approach to the current Melodic House & Techno vibes. The smooth toms at the low end and the ethereal leads on the top make this track a quality example of its genre.

MISSING JETLAG has a bit happier atmosphere than the other two on this release, but the gated synth chords in the middle skyrocket everyone’s mind to orbit for sure!

Not to be underestimated 'Ligre' takes you towards the end of a set where the DJ shakes the crowd out of their hypnotic state with broken beats and vibrant swirling bass-lines. The crashing percussion relents temporarily as a series uplifting keys tug deep at the heart strings. As the club darkens vibrant arps light the fuse for the crowd to erupt with an outpouring of pure emotion.

The latest release from Tash's Movement Limited welcomes Nikko.Z to the label for his debut single. As one of Movement Recordings core contributors early on, the Greek producer made his label debut in 2012 with a remix of 'Sandcastles' by Yves Eaux and Arnold from Mumbai. Well received, it set the course for Nikko to deliver nine originals and five remixes over the next six years, closing out that run with a thrilling rendition of 'No Sleep' by Marc De Pulse which landed in June of 2018. Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Antrim's Or Two Strangers and Madloch's Sound Avenue have all played host to Nikko's groovy progressive vision over the course of his near two decade long career, with his own flagship imprint Dopamine Music being a primary home of late. Having gotten the year underway with a remix for SLC-Music, Nikko now makes his debut on Movement's Limited division with 'Anatole', alongside remixes from Sebastian Sellares and HAEN.

The original mix is an apt barometer of where Nikko's headspace is at, with heartfelt themes descending over a bed of warm wavy grooves and retro rhythms. Glowing overlays add depth and emotion across the first act, as percolating arps open up, guiding the journey into a trance-inducing interlude, before breaking off into a rush of flickering percussive arrangements and vibrant melodies for a colourful finale.

Preceded by the successive releases of lead singles "Sandcastles" and "My Mind", here comes the versatile debut full-length offering from Tel-Aviv-based producer Kadosh on Stil vor Talent, "Unanimously". Bridging the club universe with that of deeper, further immersive off-floor narratives, Kadosh entices us down a compelling path of rhythmic enlightenment and all-embracing togetherness. Casting mutable strains of EBM, house, pop and exotica entangled in one dizzying polyphony throughout the album, the Israeli vibist has us surfing our way across his musical headspace effortlessly.

From the stealth, neo-noir-like opening sequence of "Interstellar" feat. Marc Piñol to the epic Luso-Italo vibrations of "Sandcastles" feat. vocal hoodooist Abrão, via the exquisite Afro-informed piano house and all-round atmospheric luxuriance of "My Mind" feat. Floyd Lavine and Erika Krall's supremely smooth yet characterful timbre, Kadosh swings the pendulum with constant surprise and bravura. Aside from his compositions' obvious hooking nature, there's also great lots of textural back funk to dive in at every corner. Hauntingly transporting, "From Jaffa to Friedrichshain" feat. Upon You's Marco Resmann works a more jagged programming, flush with big-room reverbs and muted drums, while the slo-evolving "Pronto" feat. Emanuel Satie morphs from a low-key DJ tool into a full-fledged, melancholy-charged peak-time burner.

Bearing both Kadosh and David Mayer's signature, "1999" lets the 80s-inherited arsenal of iridescent Casio synths and lashing percussions talk in unhindered fashion, whereas "Volantage" feat. Murat Uncuoglu goes all in on the trampling kicks, sooty claps and prismatic keyboard stabs. Sensual to the fullest, "Moran" in collaboration with Rodriguez Jr. is certainly one of the album's highlights with its impeccably laid-down melange of bassy thunder and shapely Latin rhythmic backbone ushering us down an irresistibly poignant and hypnotic tunnel of sound. A joint effort with Locked Groove, "Far Too Close" is a further loopy discoid affair reminiscent of the French filtered-house scene's heyday, while the album's closer "Think it Over" feat. Stereo MC's is that perfect pop-indebted electro chugger that'll rev up any tired engine with reinvigorated, ecstasy-inducing horsepower.
