Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

The Huli are believed to have laid down roots in Papua New Guinea as far back as 45,000 years ago. Most of the Huli people are from the town of Tari, and many still live according to the traditional ways. “The Huli men are famous for their unique custom of creating and wearing impressive wigs decorated with feathers. They also wear bright facial paint in red, yellow and white — colors originally chosen to strike fear into their enemy in times of conflict. Nowadays, they usually wear them to sing and dance.”. The so-called Wigmen make their wigs out of their own hair and weave them with feathers from the island’s 700 bird species. Each feather carries its own symbolic meaning (such as strength and courage). “The forest in which we live is essential to us. It provides for all our needs, it is sacred, and I would do anything in my power to protect it,” writes Mundiya Kepanga, a 53-year-old Huli Wigman, “I hope that by helping people to better understand my culture, they will also respect our environment.”                                                                                                                    This is the new Shango Records compilation entitled “A Wigmen Town Called Tari”. The rapidly expanding label El Baraka Family has recently welcomed moroccan duo, NDRK & Yacine Dessouki, to their already rich catalog of music with their newest single/EP titled 'Belarej', Featuring vocalist Nukad, the track is accompanied with a stellar extended remix from the label boss 'Mr ID'.

Nader Khairi, aka NDRK and Yacine Dessouki, are up-and-coming music producers from Casablanca and London who have already cut their teeth producing tracks for labels such as Sapiens, Borders Of Light, Frau Blau and Eleatics Records.

Their sound is instantly recognisable and truly unique, as it draws upon a multitude of genres from indie dance, to melodic techno, to electronica and beyond.

This latest addition sees NDRK & Yacine Dessouki's debut with the label as we are treated to the duo's dreamy creations that come from many different places across the musical spectrum. 'Belarej' is a timeless and provocative listen.

As the original track opens, we are immediately met with a sense of urgency as a hurried refrain is accompanied by a steady, pulsating baseline. The bird-like call synths alongside the added noises and ambiances gives the track an other-worldly feel, contributing to a rich but mystical soundscape that makes the listener feel as though they've been transported to some mysterious landscape on a distant universe.

The consistent heartbeat bass and the rising and falling synths as though the track itself is alive and breathing of place as a soundtrack for an epic sci-fi as the duo skilfully builds tension, preparing the audience for what will not just be an simple listening experience, but rather an entire universe, built from the sounds that they generate.

The track breaks with a swarm of textures and strings, in which blossoms the spellbinding, yet slightly hypnotic voice of Nukad, contributing to the enigmatic mood.

She takes us into a transitional piece, guiding the listener from the pressing starting point into a curious, existing like a spell, captivating, softer arms of an antique Jewish-Moroccan chant.

The audience immediately enters a new stage of the listening experience filled with emotions and devotions. The lyrics could indeed only be understood by Maghrebin Arabic speakers but flawlessly felt by all audiences parched for a ride to a different destination on those special moments surrounded by loud speakers in a dark, sight-deprived room.

Now that we've been floating through the air and bouncing gently from cloud to cloud, the track revives itself all of a sudden, bringing the listener back with a high-energy beat..

Close your eyes, and 'Belarej' almost lifts us up and evaporates our soul into the skies, in-between the clouds as they move throughout the desert night.

Enigmatic and Skarby are debuting on Sirin Music with a solo split EP. Enigmatic’s dreamy mesmerizing style has been appreciated by such renowned labels as RADIANT, Hoomidaas, Silk Music and Melody of The Soul. As an artist describes, ¨Sacred Nights¨ was written with the thought of moving to the big forest, where the girl finds something that she did not expect, and which definitely exceeds her, but is beautiful and majestic at the same time. What exactly is this? Better check it out for yourself.

Second part of the EP recorded by Skarby - house project led by Tomasz Stempniewicz from Warsaw. With over 20 years of studio experience stretching over a number of genres and having played some of the biggest electronic festivals in Poland and abroad, Tom found his footing with Skarby, releasing two albums a collaborative EP that climbed to the top of the Beatport Organic House charts in February 2022. With a dose of "soft touch" and an ear for melodies, his new material is suitable for dance floors as well as a soundtrack for a sunny day in the meadows.

Original Mix of the track ¨Nightfall¨ complemented with Remix by a part of Sirin Music family Greg Ochman. The Polish producer has had an impressive run of releases for some of top labels such as Lost Miracle and Radiant. His recent release ¨Sparkle¨ took Organic House charts on Beatport hostage for quite a time.
