In October 2014, Gavin Mulhall once again proved that his continued success and 24-carat reputation are no accident. Under his Silinder production alias, the Irishman has provided Proton Music with work that continually resonates between his growing fan base and stable of high-profile DJ supporters. The three-track "Basement" EP was yet another stepping-stone to success as "Last Light" now receives two standout remixes from Mondkrater and Rich Curtis.

Alexander Shtanoprud has hit the ground running since early work in 2013. Using his Mondkrater production pseudonym to devastating effect, the Ukrainian has been at the forefront of a new breed of melodic techno sound that has seen him create considerable success for himself. Formerly half of the successful Mode B outfit that saw a clutch of tracks signed to Particles and Back Home, Mondkrater's assault under solo guise has quickly seen him gather momentum. The January 2015 "Siberia" EP for Klangwelt began the year in exhilarating fashion backed by further work for Traumwelten in 2014 and Cocaine in 2013. Heavyweight support from Stephan Bodzin, Dominik Eulberg, Ryan Davis and Microtrauma have added to a platinum reputation while the latter was also responsible for remixing Mondkrater's "Alina" in 2013.

Making his debut for Proton Music, the Mondkrater remix is a techno tour de force, displaying impressive musical know-how and taking Silinder's work in a new and exciting direction. Taking the underlying melodic themes inherent in the original's bass line, Mondkrater has reworked "Last Light" with a deft touch, full of metallic filtered and ethereal sounds and backed by a strong beat and shuffling hi-hat percussion combination.

Rich Curtis is a multi-talented Australian with numerous strings to an ever-growing bow. Renowned promoter in his Queensland home, the Brisbane resident has been responsible for bringing the world's finest underground DJs to his hometown as he played alongside the likes of John Digweed, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo. Proficient in keyboard, drums and guitar, the self-taught electronic music producer quickly made a name for himself after hitting the headlines with a debut on Cid Inc.'s Replug. Since then, Curtis has notched up numerous original EPs and countless remixes for the likes of Indigo, Tulipa, Stripped and Sudbeat, including the "Open Other End" EP for the latter in 2012 and an appearance on the 2013 "Sudbeats 2" album.

2013's "Safety Thirst" EP for Proton Music was a highlight in the label's output that year which was followed by stellar remixes from Dousk and GRG. Following on from Curtis' remix of Dousk himself and Soulwerk in 2014, 2015 brings forth the Rich Curtis remix of "Last Light". Taking the delay-soaked, metallic-tinged melodies of the original, Curtis has provided a silky interpretation that drifts effortlessly with rolling percussive groove, strong kick and breathy pads that undulate atop a tightly integrated bass line to create a work of majesty.

Two new mixes from Mondkrater and Rich Curtis have further illuminated Silinder's "Last Light".
