Light Sculpture III

I was thinking about the Cicada after reading about the coming of "brood 10" this year.  A curious creature happily munching tree roots underground for 17 years until it is time to come out and sing its deafening song.  This little waltz I think would be what they prefer for their underground entertainment.

2nd Piece in a small suite based on field recordings taken in the 19th Arrondissement on Paris in early 2020. This work uses manipulated field recordings taken in and around the Cité De La Musique  a beautiful building both inside and out featuring a museum of instruments, archives and state of the art concert halls.
