Born in 1970. Music fan since 1985. Now heaving fun with making music. I'm self-taught, playing everything by ear. Started in 1990's but due to certain circumstances left in 1998 until April 2022. My music is created in Ableton Live 11 Intro (until december 2022) and 11 Standard with mostly free plug-ins. Fan of soundtracks (my personal heros are John Williams, Clint Mansell, Philip Glass, Thomas Newman, Hybrid, Hans Zimmer and much more), world music (Dead Can Dance), chillout (Bent, Zero7, Groove Armada, St. Germain, Air, Röyksopp, Kosheen and more), trip-hop (Massive Attack, Portishead), acid jazz (Us 3), fusion (Pat Metheny Group, Dirty Loops), progressive rock (Porcupine Tree), classical (Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Debussy, Orff, Mussorgsky) electronica (Imogen Heap), IDM/House (Moderat, Apparat, Plaid) and electronic music (Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Isao Tomita, Marek Biliński, J.J. I will tell you more about myself! I am a self-taught musician and I have several sites where I publish music with more seriousness than this site! This project, as the name of the group or soloist is called, is more than anything to make different types of music and get away a little from the traditional! You will find a lot of madness in music since I am schizophrenic and every now and then I have an attack where I hear voices, I get depressed and all those characteristics of mental illness! I tell you that I am paranoid schizophrenic F20 and I am on medication for life and the only thing I have in my life is music which helps me a lot to recover my life which is not at all pleasant! I am a lover of all the music that is published on this site and I love to listen to songs by authors who are just starting out or maybe who are professionals! Hello dear Soundcloud listeners,

I'm still determined to continue producing music, the music of Pier Will, which can only be heard on Soundcloud and which can also be recorded... for now.

The world of music is rapidly moving towards a huge upheaval where the true musician will very quickly become "rare," or even more and more of a shadow, a peculiarity, a memory. This time is not so far away, as AI takes a predominant place in everything that touches us and surrounds us and in Music, this can already be heard very clearly!

Apparently, everyone is taking this lightly, and the few diehards are being sneered at as anti-progress terrorists, for now. I already have two work computers disconnected from the internet, which house my software and everything I need to work. No more updates for them to work properly... updates are only necessary if you need to connect! Another computer is dedicated solely to internet connection and will be used exclusively for streaming the tracks.

This decision has serious consequences for my production, as there are no more options to add anything to it. It's a gamble, but for me, it's an obligation to remain completely independent and free from AI.

Je suis toujours déterminé à continuer à produire de la musique, celle de Pier Will, que l'on ne peut écouter que sur Soundcloud et qui peut aussi être enregistrée… pour l'instant.

Le monde de la musique s'achemine rapidement vers un bouleversement majeur où le véritable musicien deviendra très vite « rare », voire de plus en plus une ombre, une singularité, un souvenir. Ce temps n'est pas si lointain, car l'IA prend une place prépondérante dans tout ce qui nous touche et nous entoure, et en musique, cela se voit déjà très clairement !

Apparemment, tout le monde prend cela à la légère, et les quelques irréductibles sont méprisés comme des terroristes anti-progrès, pour l'instant. J'ai déjà deux ordinateurs de travail déconnectés d'Internet, qui hébergent mes logiciels et tout ce dont j'ai besoin pour travailler. Plus besoin de mises à jour pour qu'ils fonctionnent correctement… les mises à jour ne sont nécessaires que si vous avez besoin de vous connecter ! Un autre ordinateur est dédié uniquement à la connexion Internet et sera utilisé exclusivement pour le streaming des morceaux.

Cette décision a de graves conséquences sur ma production, car il n'y a plus aucune possibilité d'y ajouter quoi que ce soit. C'est un pari risqué, mais pour moi, c'est une obligation de rester totalement indépendant et libre de toute IA.
