мне давно хотелось сделать трек с тин вистлом, на котором я учился играть пару лет, но в итоге джиги и рилы меня не особенно увлекли, а какие-никакие навыки остались) // I’ve long wanted to make a track with a tin whistle, which I’ve learned to play for a couple of years. As a result, jigs and reels didn’t really captivate me, but some skills remained)

4. Paddy Brings Peace To My World  - my other grandfather was a Wellington pilot in the RAF during World War Two. He sadly died in 1943 so I never met him. His death left a huge impact on my grandmother (who never married again) and my dad. She said he was very loving and thoughtful and felt he would have been thinking about them right to the end. That’s the approach in this song. His nickname for her was Paddy. No idea why!  Mastered by RCD Audio.

Crete below us, and in this night sky
Angry fires around us as we fly
They want to stop us but they can’t win
Got to see the ones we love again  

Duralumin beams form a latticed frame
Carry and protect us from flack and shells and flame 
We’re just so frightened, five anxious scared young men
Just want to see our homes again 

And I pray that they’re safe
I did what I could 
Took leave and followed Anderson’s plans
and dug 3 metres into the Surrey soil 
14 pieces of aluminium, a small sump in the floor 
All I could do to protect them from this damn war 

Because 
This crazy world has lost its mind
Angry, cruel, insane!

A publishers accountant , a chippie and two clerks
and a teacher all together, up here in the dark
We’re doing our duty, the best we can
But we’ve taken too much damage and I doubt we’ll land 

Radio messages, saying we’re on fire and losing height 
We’re trying to put them out, we’re all paralysed with fright
Just trying to make it back

And I’m imagining what’s next for her
She’ll be told at first that we’re missing
Maybe dead, or prisoners of war
But she’ll never give up on me 
That’s why I’m trying to make it back 
to Paddy

Paddy brings peace to my world

little draft ....  an improvized dialog of trumpet & trombone, each blown on my Akai EWI USB, on a simple cyclic backing created with vst and a midi tool with the nice name "modal random" for the keyboard :-) ... Actually, it's always about the “intersection” that decides on dissent or consensus. However, each fact in itself already changes its value due to the frame of reference of the respective observer.  It becomes crazy when those involved in the exchange completely abandon the basis of “facts” and allow themselves to be guided only by emotions.
