A year after the debut EP of Brian Cid (@briancid) on the label, we are very happy to announce that he is back with a new one titled 'Message X'. Again, really abstract and hypnotic productions, with a very high tension. This collection of tracks is a journey that slowly evolves itself into a real exploration.

The first track ‘Shoreless Ocean’ is the slowest one of the three and has a great groove on the low-end in combination with its percussion. Its repeating main synth brings you in a hypnotic state of mind after which some surprising elements come to the front. 

‘Golden Key’ transits this state of mind into the track. On top of its static, but yet dynamic and groove-creating percussion, some very extraterrestrial synths are hovering its way throughout the arrangement. 

The final track is the title track of the EP. Here the tempo goes up more in order to go towards an impressive techno experience. The track consists of long-stretched atmospheric elements with a fast-tempo deep stab below, which reaches a real depth around the middle of the composition. After this depth a unique use of snares has been implemented by this great producer.

Morttagua and Melody Stranger hit single “Remnants” receive two brand new remixes from the likes of Weekend Heroes and David Granha.  

“Remnants” was originally released in 2019 and received massive support from the likes of the mighty Diynamic boss Solomun and Afterlife legends Tale of Us.  “Remnants” has been the ending track of most of Morttagua’s live dj sets on the past 2 years,  and now we finally bring new versions of this melodic masterpiece.

Legendary Israeli duo Weekend Heroes bring an astonishing progressive anthem remake of “Remnants”, a remix that we consider to be one of the biggest dance floor weapons of the year. With the “heroes” trademark powerful bass lines and a brand new hypnotic riff melody, this track is simply peak time fire, full or deep feelings and timeless euphoria.

Spaniard master David Granha remake of “Remants” brings you into a melodic journey through its rolling baselines and new harmonies. With a top of the art mix down and brand new synth elements, David’s remix focuses on the “alien” like vocals of the Original Mix, giving a special touch of emotion and introspections to it. Simply Timeless!

"Some time ago we had a utopian vision that seemed impossible in an increasingly saturated market where the music business was taking the strength and direction where many artists were betraying their talent to sell more records and become popular.

Back then, two enthusiasts from their little corner in Paris decided to create a record label to give some positive air to all the pollution and toxicity we were living, a label where we could all contribute in a positive way to help children in the poorest regions of the world.

Who are you? Thanks but no thanks, we often heard, but over time the idea became a reality and with the help of many artists who without asking for anything in return did not hesitate for even a second to be part of this project Lost on You was born and that vision became our mission.

Today, after 5 years of foundation the effort of all led us to build a school in Sierra Leone where 207 children study happily since September 2021 in 6 well-equipped classrooms, with teachers well-trained by our organization and collaborators. Going a step further for this year 2023 we will open two new schools in Liberia in partnership with SoundCloud, but none of this would be possible without all the people involved in our project, from the artists to the media who help us without asking anything in return. This release is a tribute to all of them, a selection of our favorite tracks during these 5 years, for you and for all those who are still faithfully by our side.
