‘Not Enough Wubs’ is Leeds-based Kaidun’s debut EP. Produced back in lockdown as an ode to everything he was missing about clubs - the rattling bass bins, punchy kicks and the energy in the air - these 4 tracks are finally complete and ready to be played in the basements they were built for.

Carefully crafting mysterious and melodic synth lines over weighty drums, Kaidun once again provides his signature sound, following on from his track on The Foundation VA released in September. Plucking elements from Electro, UKG and Breakbeats, Kaidun has created a versatile 4-tracker. The opening track ‘Not Enough Wubs’ introduces a polite but hard hitting broken beat, rave-enthused synths and wandering pads. ‘Jeez Louise’ provides listeners with cosmic grooves held down by a dark bass, built on a crisp, steppy drum beat. Littered with ravey nodes, this is a track built for the dancefloor. The track ‘Carmen Line’ is one of the more electro-fuelled jams on the EP with a drum beat that is packed full of Detroit rhythms. Overlaid with spaced out pads, classic arps and overdriven stabs, Kaidun transforms this track into a new school banger. Finally - ‘Call Lane Bus Stop’ - a place that will be familiar with everyone on the party circuit in Leeds. This track is groovey joint that will no doubt get your head bopping. Sprinkled with vocals, bouncing synths and weird but wonderful melodies, Kaidun brings yet rave-influenced heater.
