"Conceived as a vessel dedicated to a single frequency, Monolith 45 is born to trace the lineage of progressive trance - that tribal, hypnotic, and ceremonial sound that carved its path during the early 2000s, and which today we reclaim with reverence. Each release stands as a stone marker along this continuum: timeless signals that resonate equally with memory and vision. As with the broader work of Organic Signs, this new line will follow a dual path: rescuing forgotten gems from the past while also curating new music that embodies the same spirit. Monolith 45 becomes the place where past and present intertwine, shaping a narrative that honors tradition while opening new doors for exploration. The first monolith in the series carries with it two totems of the genre:

On the B-side, Ticon – Lo Mi Hi, a track that saw the light in 2001 on Digital Structures, one of the most influential labels of that era. Ticon are nothing short of mythical within this universe — pioneers whose sound blurred borders between deep grooves, psychedelic textures, and progressive structures, leaving an indelible mark that still resonates with dancers and producers worldwide.

With Monolith 45, we seek not only to preserve these transmissions but to project them into the present: to reawaken a sound that was always more than music, a tribal pulse, a ritual language that invited bodies and minds into collective trance.

Inter-continental collaborative label @amniote-editions has resurfaced with its latest capsule. This dual release sees the debut album from Naarm/Melbourne producer @hasvat-informant paired with a massive 21-track digital compilation, 'Refraction of Light Vol. II'. The label, run by @mamasnake and @t-n_dj, continues its commitment to sounds spanning the more cerebral side of ambience, IDM, techno, trance and beyond.

'Plasty' is Gadigal Land/Sydney producer @a-m-u-w-a's contribution to that compilation.

The producer, head of his own label @oomycota_label with iconic local DJ @tangeladj, is becoming increasingly known as a purveyor of intentionally warped goods. No stranger to releasing via Amniote, 'Plasty' sees amuwa delivering a psy-tipped, extra chuggy piece of 'tek' begging for play in the coming doof season.

'Refraction of Light Vol. II' releases officially on Thursday, October 30 via Amniote Editions' Bandcamp.

For our sixth release, we are pleased to welcome Italian DJ and producer Gabsphere. With his solo debut, he presents Radiatopses EP: a refined and mature work that reflects both precision and personality, marked by distinctive sound design and a contemporary vision. Throughout the EP, diverse textures and atmospheres flow seamlessly, guiding the listener through evolving sonic landscapes before gracefully returning to the point of origin.

To complete the release, Argentine artist Forest On Stasys delivers a remarkable remix of Ehecatl, imprinting his signature rhythmic touch and bringing the EP to a perfect close.

For episode 75, we present Nora Asteroid, the creative moniker of Swiss-born artist Nora Lune. Host of EUPHONICA on Switzerland’s Transition Radio, and with previous performances in both DIY and established settings across Bern, Hamburg, Malmö, and Copenhagen, she represents an emerging artist whose sense of place is as informative as it is fluid.

If underground electronic cultures can be seen as a collection of worlds, then the ability to merge between them takes something of an astral quality. To travel comet-like between these pockets of differing styles and complexities to draw something singular. Nora Asteroid is someone of this very quality.

When I started this track, I was planning to make a remix of “Take What You Want” by Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone and Travis Scott. I began by rebuilding some of the original chord progressions, but along the way the track started to develop its own character. I decided to keep some of the vocals and harmonies from the original, and let the rest evolve into something different... something of its own.
