After more spending more than ten years producing tracks in the studio, @deanpolman decided it was time to bring his music to the stage. Strongly influenced by the progressive sound of the 90s, he connects nostalgic tones with contemporary sounds in his sets.

Berlin - Málaga - Lisbon

Born in Portugal, RUi discovered his love for music and the magic of the dancefloor in the 2000s, a time when Lisbon and the Algarve were experiencing a golden age of clubbing. Those early nights laid the foundation for a deep and lasting connection to electronic music.

In 2025, he relocated to Berlin, where getting lost in queer dancefloors quickly became a kind of religion. The city’s outrageous clubs and unapologetically diverse crowds offered RUi a true safe space—one where his passion for house and techno could expand, evolve, and take on a life of its own.

Since 2023, RUi has split his time between Berlin and Málaga, carrying inspiration from both scenes into every set he plays. His mixes are all about crafting a positive, pleasurable, and immersive experience: expect strong, groovy basslines, sexy vocals, and a journey you won’t forget.
