Excited for this week's guest to be featuring on the SixthSense Australia platform. Fresh of the back of his epic album 'Invader' on Bassic Records, Samwise has decided to grace our sound-waves and treat your ears to celebrate this monumental release.

No stranger to a having a sick one on the dance-floor, our Samwise was heavily involved in the old school Melbourne hard trance scene a fair yonk ago. His fascination of music production stemmed from this as he was clearly influenced by various sub-genres of energetic dance music and the Australian festival scene. 

The last couple years has seen Sam become a source of quality techno wall-slappers as he has made a name a name for himself in our dense and vibrant Melbourne underground scene. With releases on Recovery Collective, Oxytech, Feather Print & Bassic Records he has pushed the envelope with the unique and twisted sub-genre of techno he creates and has inspired his peers around him. 

This SoundCast is an accurate representation of his deep, driving production styles. All tied in with a psychedelic twist of course ;)

If you’re from the Northside of Melbourne or have ever had the chance to party out that side of town - there’s a fair chance you know our boy Dark Design.
A fly on the wall at some of Melbourne’s finer establishments, Darcy is as full of life as he is of yarns - you’ll know this if you’ve managed to be on the receiving end of one of his 3am smokers chats. 
Naturally, you can only spend so long frequenting and embracing our cities nightlife before you start to involve yourself - and Darcy has done so in spectacular fashion.
If you’ve ever managed to catch one of Darcy’s sets, there’s a fair chance you’ve heard some of his signature mooged out original productions. With just under 2 years under his belt, Darcy has driven to better himself in the studio with an admirable intensity and you can certainly hear this in his class productions. We’re honoured to have the chance to premier a 100% original mix from the big lover boy at Proxima Frequencies, full to the brim with both released and unreleased original tracks and some remixes. 
This set is full of sounds inspired by Australia’s festival scene, and in current times - we think this is just about as close as you’re gonna get to the real thing. So grab a beer, get outside, enjoy the sun and let Darcy’s work take you to a better place.

Intercept #17 - Dark Design (All Original Mix)

Today we are proud to be bringing you a fresh and friendly face to the Melbourne music scene; Panthaera.

With the beginning of a season of lockdowns and social isolation we saw an unfortunate suppression of Melbourne's beloved live music and the events held with in. 
These unfortunate times has made it clear that our scene here in Melbourne has an exceptionally strong community with in it, and has only grown stronger over the course of the last 8 months.
But as with the prevalent strengthening of the community we have started to see this suppression give rise to a new generation of creative expression to share with us their unique take on what we all enjoy so much. 
Panthaera is a perfect example of this.
She has been a staple of said community for a long time and is no stranger to a good yarn and a dusty dancefloor 
So at the beginning of our lockdown period she began to share with us a sound that outlines herself as an artist, and it's been nothing short of a spectacle!

This is a recording from a set i played at a private doof over new years. I played late afternoon before the sunset on new years day. All the bush flavours in this. Melodic, Psychedelic and Progressive Techno. Thanks to Beau, Ben and Dom for putting on such a great party.

We out here this week, cutting shapes with our farm animals to this chunky, groovy, free minded SoundCast by Melbourne's prince of the CDJ's - Le'Bruh (Lawrence of Brunswick to some)

It's actually a pleasure hosting this fun, loveable guy on our platform, we expected a SoundCast that would be slightly different to our "norm" (if we ever have one) and we got exactly that. The Bruh, as how you would translate it from French to English, is one of the most experienced tune spinners in the game. From conquering basically, all of Melbourne, to playing main stage slots at "le deuf" his wisdom and skills acquired from years and years of taking people on a journey really shines through. 

Along with his wizardry status as a DJ, Le'Bruh is one of Melbourne's most dynamic promoters, running a wide variety of parties that cater to different sects of ravers in our scene. Most passionately known for his head role at burner crew Pelican Villa, some of the bruh's parties have also blown some socks of our feet at some point ;) 

We hope you enjoy this SoundCast from the Lawrence of Brunny. it's filled with a bit of everything, but promises a heavy, consistent dose of chunk all the way through.
