Avant la pandémie, j'ai travaillé longtemps à perfectionner de nouvelles créations musicales adaptées pour la performance en live en sachant que je ne jouerai pas avant longtemps. Exceptionnellement, J'ai eu la chance et l'opportunité de jouer en direct, filmé durant une présentation du PURR SOCIAL CLUB organisé par Dominique Thibault (Dj Mighty Kat) à Montréal le 9 avril 2021. La suite de DJs présentés pendant cette soirée fut SUFèR, Mighty Kat et moi-même. Au moment de la performance, j'ai jouer à une vitesse de 126 bpm. BIO:
Baime is Jens Christian Nørgaard and Mikael Melander. In 2015, their love for fellow danish producer Kölsch brought them together when they met at his Q&A. Realizing they shared a powerful artistic vision, the Copenhagen duo formalized their partnership and has since forged one of Northern Europe’s most exciting electronic dancemusic acts known for bold experimentation, artful minimalism, and punishingly effective drums.

At its core, Baime is a deeply personal, transformative project. Named for the Lithuanian word for fear, Baime represents the existential angst relating to thr great unknown, and the magic that results from overcoming it. In their productions and DJ sets, the duo pushes past the limits of their own reservations. Their sound is bold and brash and forges a genre of its own. Baime is, in a word, fearless.

After the project’s inception, the duo quickly rose to fame in the Copenhagen scene, hosting their own club nights at Culture Box, KB18, and the legendary IG60 parties with CPH DEEP. Soon after, Baime progressed to the global stage, including appearances at the Berlin clubs Watergate and Ritter Butzke, Dubai’s Soho Garden, the rooftop of the Copenhagen Opera, and Roskilde, Northern Europe’s largest music festival. A string of releases on heavy-hitting labels has accompanied the duo’s rise, including EPs on Sincopat, Watergate Records, and Jonas Saalbach’s stellar Radikon imprint.

ABOUT RICKY DALMEIDA:
Ricky is a DJ, Clubber and electronic music lover.

Born in Portugal, he lived there for nearly three decades, moved to Barcelona (SP) to strengthen his passion for his first love, electronic music.

He started playing records from his father's music collection as a very young man, then at school parties, birthdays, local radios, and then going to clubs where he was presented as DJ Pira.

He studied percussion (drums) at a very young age and graduated with great Masters in “Plastic – Official Academy of DJ's and Producers of Barcelona”

He doesn't play just one genre, he has no limits, his sound covers everything, he's versatile, he has a great musical knowledge which becomes his main objective, to free him to educate and entertain.

Their sets offer deep, contagious dance rhythms and a lively atmosphere. Unafraid to go too deep, their musical selections aim to lead the crowd into a world of eclectic sensations, delivering a mix of dark melodies and smooth synths.

Creator and curator of the podcast "Give Me a Break - Radio Show" where he plays and creates hot mixes of Progressive Break(s) in which he has spent years researching and collecting this genre of electronic music.
