Furry Dude. Fat Dxxk. Fun Drain. Fairly Disappointing. Fxxkin Dutty. 

It’s true that FD can be, and mean, a whole number of things. And he has his friends (let’s call them this for the sake of this piece) to thank for a wealth of fun and exciting possible names he can use. If only he’d thought of this when quite willingly accepting FD as his DJ name, rapidly and untested-ly bestowed upon him in his teenage years. But he didn’t. And so now here we are. And here he is. Floppy Dingbat. 

Luckily for us, it seems he decided to use his ‘Fxxkin Dutty’ pseudonym when he sat down to remix this classic Total Science track. 

‘Kingpin’ first surfaced in 2002 when it headed up the pretty awesome ‘Tuned In’ album and was also given the remix treatment by the legendary Future Cut shortly after. 

Come 2024, it was definitely ready for another update and luckily for us, and for you, FD has delivered a version which has his trademarks stamped all over it - and it’s Fxxkin Dutty.

Hailing from the north side of São Paulo, Brazil, brothers Guilherme and Neto formed Jam Thieves in 2007. Since then their music has been released by a whole host of popular labels and has gained much support through out the scene. It wasn’t long until they popped up on our radar with the offering of their debut single with us, titled, Apache / White Shark. 

The Brazilian duo start by bringing the rawness with Apache. A short and sweet intro leads to a massacre of tightly produced beats and rumbling subs accompanied by intricate mid bass edits. Nice! 

On the flip, White Shark attacks the listener in seconds spitting out what can only be described as a crunchy bass line topped with our favorite ingredients of sharp beats and all round tear out vibes!

The precocious talent that is Ed:It is back on CIA, with four new slappers for ya lugholes. We’re always happy to have young Ed on the label, and it was about time for his next outing with us—but he’s really outdone himself this time with his brand new ‘Engines EP’. 

Since ‘The Keep EP’ in 2023, it’s been impossible to keep Ed:It down, as he’s hit relentlessly with a slew of heaters on a who’s who of top labels. He still stays true to the sound and vibe he’s always had, but the levelling up on the studio skills is always immediately evident in his recent work.
