Zounds! A midweek treat for the weary psychedelic travelers shackled to desks and manning the meatpacking lines. Perched on the precipice of a massive fall tour complete with a stunning new live show and a gaggle of special guests, Ott has blessed The Untz with unholy water (it stings) and a fancy new single hot off the presses and straight from the laboratory. "Baby Robot" is a lush, symphonic piece oozing with walls of cushy synths and a hypnotic beat that laps up against the ethereal vox like waves on the shore.

The B-Side "Mr. Balloon Hands" is a trippy, broken beat opus riddle with Indian raga scatting and plenty of exotic percussion to get those tired feet moving. Bouncy, buoyant, and ebullient, this cut will push you over onto the safety of the weekend whereupon Ott triumphantly returns to the great state of Colorado with a pair of shows on the 13th and 14th: first at the Mish up near Ft. Collins, and then Boulder bound on Saturday. The rest of the country need not fret, the brand new show hits cities big and small from coast to coast through the month of September and into October with Bluetech, Anomie Belle, Aligning Minds, and many more incredible acts.

Marcin Pawłowski a.k.a. Netsu is a musician from the ancient Polish city of Wrocław. He produces atmospheric electronic music in the genres of psychill, psydub, progressive. Live & Remixed is a compilation album comprising recordings of Netsu's live performances and remixes of his tracks by Panda On The Bamboo Tree and Mental Traveler projects.

Being a real fan of hardware synthesizers, Marcin constantly strives to improve his performances, experimenting with new gear and compositions, mixing analogue and digital synthesis techniques. His sound experiments are perfectly blended with traditions of dub, downtempo, progressive. Vast soundscapes, rich samples, emotional bass lines of the tracks of Live & Remixed are intertwined into a dense flow of shamanic dance.

Discoshaman from Denmark makes music informed by the shamanic history of using rhythm for healing. His sonic therapy comes with catchy melodies and lands on labels like Cosmic Awakenings & Stingray Vision. Here he links with Lemurian who is part of the new movement called "Spiritual Electronic" and who uses organic sounds in his sets to make people feel grounded.

This adventurous EP started with the connection of two individuals with the same music perspective but living in different parts of the world, Lemurian from Miami and Discoshaman from the Danish capital of Copenhagen. They connected via the online music system ‘Splice’ which, for those that are not familiar with it, is a cloud platform for music creation, collaboration and sharing which meant that these producers have never met in person before but just by feeling the same music connection they started using this technology to create and share their gifts with the world. Lemurian affirms that “Technology well used can create more bridges in between creatives.” And from that blueprint was born ‘Union Mistica’

Premiere | Discoshaman & Lemurian - Sufi Spin (Cosmic Awakenings)

VLASTUR is back with an extraordinary retro set. Tune in on Friday afternoon 6pm.

Vlastur started his journey into music as a Bass player. Back in the mid-80’s, he was a founding member of the Cohash Funk, an underground funky Athenian group. In 1998 alongside Frequency Freak, fellow Cohash funk guitarist and Spiris, a dubby drummer, formed “Apeuthias Syndesi” now known as Direct Connection, a dub experimental laboratory. They released “Dub Infection” in 2007.
Even though he started as a Bassist in Direct Connection, he was the main FX Sound Engineer of the band.
In the meanwhile he was also working as a session musician with various artists and bands. In 2004 he teamed up with Palyrria an ethnic-electronica band and in 2005 recorded “Methexy” with them and has played in many of their gigs.
The (InterAxion Dub-2009 Eqnation recs) project was the first fully length work of Vlastur. Influenced by all his beloved sounds from Dub to Dubstep through Psy, Ambient, Drum n’ Bass and Traditional Mediterranean sounds !
In early 2015 Parvati recs released the EP “Parvati In Dub by Vlastur. It’s about a RMX project by him in Dub with some of the very well known tunes of Parvati label artists flavored by Vlastur’s sound! (a second part is on the way)
He participated as a bass player in the super band “Novelty Engine” with the artists Ajja, Cedric “Congo” Myton , R.ZEE Jackson, Steve Hillage (System 7), Miquette Giraudy (System 7), Dick Trevor, Ott and Dymons on August of 2015 at OZORA Festival in Hungary as well as next year edition in 2016, while his own band, Vlastur Full Band, rocked the Dragon’s Nest Stage.
Except those artists Vlastur has co-operated with others such as Gaudi, Bombay Dub Orchestra, Irina Mikhailova, Etnica, Tengri, Jef Stott and more.
Vlastur Full Band is his live project. The active members right now are: Dark Elf (Synth/Machines) + Adil Smaali on vox and Moroccan instruments +Tolis aka DreamMadeTeller (percussions and vox) Wee (Guitar) + G.Verix as a sound engineer, while other have been participating the previous years, like Frequency Freak (Guitar/Synths), Spyro K. (Drums), Helena S. (Vocals), Pan Kaperneka (Flute), Akbar (Percussion), Or Balak (Drums) and Dinos Z. on the sound consoles.
Vlastur believes that the sound evolves constantly while the vibe remains the same, from Rock n’ Roll to Punk and from Dub to Psy.
