Slow Waves is a collection of multi-layered memories, stacked like grainy polaroids in an old box in the closet or under the bed while the colours fade. A young Rob at the beach or on his first day of grammar school. Images of travels across Europe and Japan, moments slipping in trains or planes while landscapes pass by. Memories so unique to his life, yet so similar to the fading memories of youth and adolescence we all have...

After a series of well acclaimed EP’s, each of them created at very specific moments in the artists life, @submerse took the time and sat down to reflect and convert all these memories into his first full length album on Project: Mooncircle.

'Slow Waves' comes out worldwide on limited double vinyl, limited handmade and handpainted cassette edition (both including download code) as well as a limited edition CD including a bonus track via @flaurecords in Japan.

 For the second installment of Moovmnt’s monthly Dutch producer series, ‘Werk Space’, they invited Moods to the Red Bull Studios Amsterdam.
Each month they invite a producer from the Netherlands to showcase his artistry and challenge him to work in an amazingly fruitful environment.

The Red Bull Studios Amsterdam is a state-of-the-art recording and production facility, where renowned and up-and-coming artists, are provided with everything they need in order to celebrate and create music!
 
Moovmnt invited the alluring SIAM from Ghent (Belgium) to lay down some amazing vocals and managed to record and mix everything within a day. Her jazzy style of singing fits perfectly on our newly created song entitled “Organic”.

Under the steer of Jesse Rose, Graeme Sinden and Chris Belsey, Loungin’ Recordings’s formative years were spent driving the broken-beat sound of postmillennial Notting Hill. With pioneering producers such as Domu and Dave ‘Switch’ Taylor mainstays on the roster, Loungin’ steadily became the label most synonymous with the jazz-derived sub-genre. 

Hailing from Rotterdam, C.O.N.E is a principal member of a collective of young producers making what’s commonly tagged as ‘Bruk-step’: a sub-genre of grime that incorporates the percussive structure and production sensibilities of broken-beat. Having delivered two typically resounding remixes for Loungin’ in the last 6 months, C.O.N.E now delivers a full artist EP for the West London-based imprint.

As an avid vinyl collector of Loungin’s output in the early-2000s, the 4 tracks forming the ‘Doppa’ EP were purpose-made to reflect the influence Solid Groove’s designs had on him in the early-2000s.  Already aired on RINSE FM, the EP’s weighty title track is supported by ‘Pressure’ – a more classic cut of percussion-heavy broken house. ‘Reach’ is deeper inclusion that feature’s the vocals of Footsteppa Records affiliate Tink, before ‘Ravi’ completes the package in a fractured grid of dub-techno.
