This EP takes a more minimal path than our previous work, while staying true to the 2wice Shye sound ,hypnotic and spacey in different flavours. 

It’s inspired by the Dogon people of Mali, whose ancient stories of otherworldly visitors echo through the space-ritual energy of the release.

Some tracks explore deeper themes of presence and self-awareness. "The Watcher" "Der Beobachter" Stillness Beneath and Signs of Life each reflect the idea that on the dance floor, rhythm becomes ritual- a meeting point with the self and Spark echoes a deep feeling many artist feel when being underappreciated.

With his first release on Token, Phara conjures up four tracks detailing dancefloor impact with robust personality. In ‘Second Skin’, the Belgian artist is eager for resolution, keeping tension high with the bold analog sound he’s known for. Coming eye to eye with the label’s sound, Phara pays homage to Token while fiercely defending years of artistic direction - layering the label’s astral ambiance with his unstoppable movement.

‘Neon’ is inquisitive and almost spiritual in its effect, playing with the line between a unified dancefloor and an introspective journey.

David, aka DMZ, is a Spanish DJ and producer based in Berlin. His sets reflect a wide-ranging musical curiosity, blending techno, house, minimal, deep, Electro, dub and ambient with a strong sense of storytelling. Recently, he made his debut as a producer in the last PRTL WRX VA since then, DMZ has put out a nice self-release on his Bandcamp, which I recommend checking out. 

Co-founder and resident of @hara.ct, a young Berlin collective known for its intimate, carefully curated events with a clear musical direction, cozy atmospheres, and a strong artistic identity — a project that is steadily making its mark on the city’s scene.
