Guitarist, Songwriter and Addicted to Music!

A young guitarist who started playing guitar at the age of 12 and have been enjoying it ever since. 

PJ Cavanagh plays folk punk & outlaw gospel. He records in a cave he dug by hand.  
His first job was as a didjeridu player. He has been writing and producing original music since he was a kid; firstly at home with his brother, street guitarist Steve Cavanagh, then with schoolboy band Tinea, then with college band Tinman (Tamas Wells, Andrew May & Nick Johns) and then pub-rock/punk 3-piece Cold Turkey (Duck Peterson & Glen Treble). PJ wrote the majority of the songs from the two albums (“Face of a Beaten Dog” and “Speed the Day” produced by Steve Morrison). 
In 2019 PJ Cavanagh released the EP The Jubilee inspired by the godfather of Outlaw Gospel, Johnny Cash. 
Shortly after this he formed a record label Roofbreaker Records and does DIY music with a co-operative of likeminded people.
