Jonathan K. Hinton was born May 14, 1988 at Franklin Square Hospital located in Baltimore,Md to parents Catherine L. White and Calvin Hinton. At an early age he was placed in the care Social Services, due neglect and unsuitable living conditions. As time passed he grew into a stage of discomfort, not understanding his predictament. He follow the path of many other troubled children, becoming troublesome and in some cases rebellious. He later found comfort in being a misunderstood teen and saw acceptance in others percieved as misfits, due his circumstances. Traveling from foster homes to group homes and sharing a very limited amount of time with his family soon got old. Knowing the lifestyle that was forced upon him left him partially broken and clueless on who he was truly destined to be. Through the years he found an outlet to escape the turmoil and madness in his life. He found reading was the perfect antidote for temporarily evading his course reality. Despite his rebellious behavior and cynical feelings of people he felt the discovery of absorbing knowledge in the form of words was a gift. Holding on to this gift he grew wisdom, intellect and used it often, though not willing to discard the ability to be belligerent and foul-mouthed. Due to the crowd he chose to adapt came also a path to walk. Though he was told and knew he held great potential, he felt more comfortable breaking the rules, which soon evolved into breaking laws. Upon the age of 18, which is much later than most of his crowd, stastically speaking he was arrested for his first felony. With being a ward of the state left very little help from friends or family. There was no one there to call. This chapter was very different than many of those he'd conquered in the past. He was forced to go back to that "dark place". He felt alone and abandon, and knew there was no one to blame other than himself. He felt no choice but to return to what made him feel "ok" and continued breaking the rules, fighting and being defiant. He was soon place in confinement also known as lockdown/lockup. He found his old tactics were of little or no use there. He went back to that dark place and felt lost more so than ever before. This time even reading was of only little relief. He felt dead. During this time he searched and searched for an outlet. And the thought boggled him. He wanted to express how he felt to everyone aside from banging and kicking the cell door. He analyzed his strengths and saw only the one he'd had for quite some time. He had learned to absorb almost everything he read, realizing the mental powers he possessed he utilized them in another niche he had, music. It was quite a revalation to him. He wrote song after song after song of sadness and how depressing life was for him and songs of feelings of past loves which shortly basked in his life. He realized that was only a very small portion of what he wanted to get out. What was still eating at him internally was rage, built up anger, a pain so deeprooted, hatred even. He resorted to a more relieving source of expression, "rap". It felt a little akward but he felt more articulate, more aggressive, more alive. Able to say whatever he felt any way he chose without the restritions gave him a high like no drug. He took all he knew, felt, and wanted to say and invested it into his lyrics. He found a breakthrough and soon exposed it to fellow inmates. Upon his release he owned a collection of written material determined his calling was to reach his story, his message to those who know, and those even ingnorant to the tribulations he and many of have faced as  a misunderstood misfit. He has recently relocated from Baltimore to Los Angeles,CA to pursue the goal of delivering that message. - the harder the struggle, the harder the fight- J. Hinton

I started rapping in November/December, trying to improve on writing, my flow, and editing. All my raps are done on an app so its nothing special. Let me know what you guys think.
