Kidnap is an artist whose music overflows with emotion - rich and powerfully evocative.

Recording in London, Kidnap (real name Matthew Relton) likens his process to that of a sculptor, starting with a block of sound and chopping away until a shape emerges. As such, each song exists ornately carved with a handcrafted subtly.

Still just 33, Relton is already something of an industry veteran. Releasing his first single in 2012 kicked off an eight-year stretch of global touring that came to a grinding halt when the pandemic put the world on pause.

2024 marks a new chapter for Kidnap, with his next body of work on the horizon. Set against the backdrop of a changing world and the arrival of a baby daughter, Relton offers a bittersweet reflection on the passing of time. ‘It’s about looking back on the last 12 years — the touring and the friends and the sleeplessness,” says Relton, “and realising that in order to embrace the life I have now, I need to let it all go.’ The music shimmers with nostalgia. Signature sad melodies dance deftly around commanding synth lines, altogether sounding like an artist with a new found sense of purpose.

Psaïk'ô est passionné de musique depuis son tout jeune âge. Il a d’abord étudié le solfège pour pouvoir s'initier à différents instruments acoustiques  tels que la guitare,le saxophone et la batterie. 
Sa culture musicale initiale est issue du punk,du rock alternatif ainsi que de la newwave jusqu'à ce qu'il découvre la House en 1992 et les clubs belges en 1993. 
C'est en 1995 qu'il commence à caresser les platines en jouant du Hardcore,Hardtek et également Trance et Hardtrance et sera rapidement invité dans des soirées privées. 
Depuis il est toujours passionné par ces bons sons de l'époque qu'il rend hommage à travers ses sets diffusés sur les radio telles que "SplashWaveRadio" (2010/2011) et actuellement résident sur "RIND Radio (Ex Retro Is Not Dead Webradio), et dans des soirées comme "The Return Of The Techno" (Peniche Maud - Lille), "Back To The OldSchool"(Extreme - lokeren), AXIOME Remember, Classic Underground Music Tour (At The Villa Mouscron) ...
Au fil des années,tout en conservant la Retro,il diversifie sa culture musicale et compose egalement des sets Electro,Techno,Minimal,Tech House,etc 
L'éclectisme étant le maître mot, il mélange les tracks des différentes années (rétro et sons actuels) dans ses sessions "Electrofusion" et il réside à ElectroFusion Events qui s'est produit dans des clubs comme le Cherry Moon (Belgique), Babylone Club Mouscron (belgique)

Psaïk'ô is passionate about music since an early age. He first studied music theory to learn about different acoustic instruments like guitar, saxophone and drums. 
His initial musical culture comes from the punk, alternative rock and the newwave until he found the House in 1992 and Belgian clubs in 1993. 
In 1995 he began to caress the turntables to play Hardcore,Hardtek and also Trance, Hardtrance and will soon be invited to private parties. 
Since he is still passionate about the sounds of old time, and he in tributes of his sets broadcast on radio such as "SplashWaveRadio" (2010/2011) and currently a resident @ "RIND Radio (Ex Retro Is Not Dead Webradio)", and the party as "The Return Of The Techno" (Peniche Maud - Lille), "Back To The OldSchool" (Extreme - lokeren), AXIOME Remember, Classic Underground Music Tour (At The Villa Mouscron) ... 
Over the years, while retaining the Retro, he diversified his musical culture and also produces sets Electro, Techno, Minimal, Tech House, etc. 
Eclecticism is the watchword, he mixes tracks from different years (retro and fresh sounds) in its sessions "Electrofusion" and resides in Electrofusion Events that happened in clubs like Cherry Moon (Belgium), Babylon Club Mouscron (Belgium)
