Westerner is an indie rock band with neo-psychedelic and synth pop flavors in the vein of Foals or Glass Animals. Their songs are at once danceable and mesmerizing. Funky beats and occasional electronics are applied to a showy indie-rock style that can either be danced to or appreciated on a purely musical level. Some very savvy pop tunes are deftly mixed with space and synth rock elements. It’s a compliment to say that their music is hard to compare to anybody else’s, but this is definitely life-force-celebrating music, both exuberant and infectious.

They've racked up over 90k followers on TikTok, spins on LA's KCSN 88.5FM and Amazing Radio (Tobi Lynn, Jose Galvan), and rave reviews from publications like BuzzBandsLA and American Pancake. They currently work with world-famous mastering engineer Vlado Meller (Kanye West, Paul McCartney), and mixing engineer Jules de Gasperis (Low Hum, James Supercave).

Jason Driver, owner of Fur Vault PDX, is a musician/producer/engineer located in Portland, OR.  Fur Face is a group of instrumental jams that came together by free-form self-jamming via the wizardry of modern multi-track recording and basic nerdiness.  This is a sampling from a collection of Fur Faces created over a period of a month in 2013.  They were each done in a couple hours and are essentially just ideas.  They are not meant to be commercially viable material at this stage. The original idea was to create a catalog of short tunes to be licensed for video, but never got off the ground because…life. All songs are composed, tracked and engineered by Jason Driver.  All instruments performed by Jason Driver.  Basically, a dude in a room full of musical tools exploring musical possibilities.
