Dayni:
After having been on the road as a DJ for over 10 years , Dayni eventually found himself drawn to the studio around 4 years ago. Over the years he has played countless sets at events across Switzerland and hosted a local radio show (Radio 3Fach) in Luzern, Switzerland. In 2006 Dayni secured himself third place in the pro-Dj voting on the drum and bass forum “dogsonacid” – right behind the big guns Andy C and Friction

He quickly found a helping friend for studio sessions within Kyrad, who inspired and taught him valuable production techniques. He invested a great deal of time and effort into getting to grips with the ins and outs of music production and has finally arrived at a point where he feels comfortable with his output in the studio.

With a few releases under his belt he now joins the ranks of Drum Army with his ‘Black Rain’ LP. This EP is going to be split into the EPs during 2020 and early 2021.

PREMIERE: Dayni - Dealing With It (DALP002)

InHabit Recordings is delighted to present a four track EP from rising talent Maykors that we hope will continue to fuel his growing reputation as not only a prodigal studio talent, but as someone with a rare ability to craft memorable, progressive dancefloor Drum & Bass music. Each of the four tracks that make up his debut release on our label showcase a slightly different side of his art, commencing with the blurry, switchblades-and-circuitboards Cyberpunk gurgler that is Terra Firma, and ending four tunes later with the smacked out dissociative crescendos of Clandestine, having zigged through the celestial heights and murky depths of Bermuda, and zagged through the pummeling tour de force that is Alien Trip, and honestly, who even does that anymore? And why not? This is the real deal, kinetic, agoraphobic soul for people who have heard it all before but need beats that make them FEEL something as well as beats that make them move. What’s the point otherwise? Get up the yard, meet your Maykors.
