welcome to my hatsune miku append tech demo. i love append... the v3 and v4 rereleases didn't quite recapture that magic append had...
i wanted to cover this song as a tribute to BiSH -- the group recently retired -- as well as a love letter to my all-time favorite append song, cosmo's Division → Destruction.
the tech demo aspect -- there's two kinds of duets in this song.
* duets with differentiated vocals (achieved by slight pitch bending). ex 00:51 , and most other duets.
* duets with no differentiation, creating an XSY-like blending effect. these are at 01:02 , 01:14 , 02:02 , 02:13 . this is a special feature of vbs with the same source, they can blend easily, effectively being able to create new tones even without something like XSY.

two years later, i realize i never uploaded the final version here....

whenever a PinocchioP song comes out, I think "what if I make a Luka cover?". this is my first time seeing that through!

almost everything was lovingly rendered in vocaloid2. i know the mixing doesn't perfectly match the original, but i think it suits luka's vocals this way. let me know what you think! maybe i'll make some more covers in the future...
