Rise up through tired winter beds,
A leaf or two at first, and then...
An eruption of yellow and green
The splendor of nature's birthday suit
Comes clean again.

The forest shows the way to spring,
this rebirth, will rebirth, our rebirth.
And so tired eyes rub themselves awake,
To plant naked dancing feet 
Upon this Evergreen floor. 

We as a community come side-by-side
Circled up, and ready to ride,
This wave, this journey, this cycle.
With nature as our guide,
Our rebirth, will rebirth, this new earth.

I recorded this set on April 3, 2022 for the Asheville Movement Collective were I reside as a facilitator and mix maker. The set was crafted with me pulling an all nighter the night before to design the wave and practice it, and then I played it live with a few adjustments to fit the vibe of the dance floor. 

All of the artist names and track titles are noted by me in the comments. Mahalo to all the musical artists and the many cultures that helped produce the music I use to craft this journey. 

I'm also happy to share a poem I wrote as an intention to this Sunday morning dance. Blessings to all those who honor the act of dance as medicine.

In this Cosmicleaf episode you can listen to a studio mix by EGUANA. It is hard to showcase the expansive and strongly diverse genre catalog of Eguana, so this is a very small taste of his latest releases. Eguana is characterized by quiet music that has its own storyline, where each track is a new tale, quite minor and lyric. Variety of instruments and synths is making it nice to listen. The set of synths and live instruments makes an interesting panorama. Vocal line is also great, it sometimes carries you beyond you imagination.
