It’s been an absolute honour for me to join Mo:Dem festival again in 2025. This year, I was allocated an evening slot within a dark progressive session.
Set Time: 21.00-23.00 - Day 1

I did my best to honour the slot while holding integrity and taking risks. My selections explore various parts of my library, ranging from dark prog to an array of sped-up psy-tech and 140-ish hypnotic techno flavours I’ve been delving into recently. I also featured some fresh break-beat and syncopated grooves I’ve been gathering.

I must admit, I didn’t play drums throughout the set as much as usual. This was due to focusing on the mix and trying to harness control. With this being said, there’s still several moments throughout the recording where you can hear me having a slap. It’s a bit sloppy, but hey, we’re out here winging it, and that’s where the magic lies (sometimes).

All in all, I’m happy with the set and believe it’s a good representation of my style within the context of the session. Mo:Dem is the psychedelic mecca!! She is a must-attend event, and my favourite in the world so far <3

Lost Minute presents YME in this episode. YME, originally from Transylvania and now based in Budapest, began DJing as a hobby before his career took off in 2022. Since then, he has played at nearly every major club in Budapest, appeared in Romania, and reached a milestone performing at Brussels’ legendary UMI club, taking over the booth from Herodot.  He has shared lineups with respected artists such as Per Hammar, Vlad Caia, Cristi Cons, DeWalta, and Olga Korol. Known for a unique style that blends timeless classics with fresh cuts, YME always gets the crowd moving. As a co-founder of the Tereda event series, he’s a driving force in the new wave of the underground scene.

Afshin Soltani is an electronic music producer, DJ, and the founder of Psychedelic Gnosis Records. Blending elements of techno, trance, and psytrance, his music grows from a deep passion for psychedelic sound and culture. Through his work, Afshin explores how music can become a bridge for healing, transformation, and transcendence — whether through his hypnotic DJ sets or his ongoing exploration of sound as a tool for inner balance and connection.

Under his main project Psybernautix, Afshin crafts groovy, twisted, and story-driven psychedelic journeys — immersive experiences where movement turns into meditation and sound opens the path inward. With his newer project, Sonic Rapture, he dives into the fusion of psychedelic techno and trance, blending high-energy, evolving rhythms and twisted grooves to create music that’s both powerful and deeply engaging.


Recently, Afshin has also been performing more DJ sets under his own name, free from stylistic boundaries. As a label owner and lifelong music explorer, he enjoys creating sound journeys and moments of controlled madness on the dancefloor, where every set becomes an unpredictable and evolving experience.

For Afshin, music is an alchemical instrument — a way to shift energy, dissolve boundaries, and unite people through rhythm. Whether behind the decks or moving on the dancefloor, he seeks those rare moments of flow and unity where sound takes over, movement becomes language, and the dancefloor turns into a shared space of trance, release, and connection.
