Born with a deep passion for music, Benjamin's journey into electronic dance music began at a young age after hearing the first-ever Euphoria CD. He was quickly drawn to the melodies and the bassline styles of trance, and later, he was drawn to the sounds of UK Hard Trance and the modern sounds of Happy Hardcore.

Ben has recently set up his own brand (Kings Will Come Recordings), which is drawing up plans to be an active Record Label supporting Mental Health.

He fell in love with dance music at a young age then discovered Durban's Super-Club 3-30 and HardHouse. Later came Club Traxx on Cobham Grove, which ignited a deeper passion for Harder Dance and Hard Trance. With Hard Dance Icons - Sam Boylan, Lisa Lashes & Technikal being a major influence to his DJ'ing style. Living the evolution and rise of Trance music from the late 90's to modern day, it was inevitable for him to be a DJ. 3-30 spawned his mad love for Hard House. The source was 5FM and Derek the Bandit. Saturday nights became a regular sanctuary in warm up to Club Nights at 3-30, taping songs off the radio, little did he know that he was already technically DJ'ing and those would become priceless mixtapes. 

Since then his passion for the music grew and kept growing, learning about music and the basics and crafting his sound. It all began in the Spring of 2008. He taught himself the art of mixing on pc, then progressed to cdj's and later on, the basics of music production (FL Studio). His first public performance came along in the summer of 2010 where he guested on web radio sensation, and what grew into a Durban culture and phenomenon - Sensations with Tink & Andy. He returned with numerous guestings and grew with the station which evolved into SensationsRadio.fm. Mentored by co-founder of SensationsRadio - Tink (Grant Richard Clarke). Guesting wasn't enough, he then joined forces with Durban's Ralph Destruct and Shabz DJ forming Hard Dance Society - est 2013, which premiered on SensationsRadio live monthly and became one of the station's most successful shows. 

The trio pushed boundaries and set benchmarks within the scene and brought together almost every significant Durban and South African Hard Dance DJ - established and up and comers to their show when Hard Dance was dwindling, These three kept the fire burning. Uniting the Hard Dance family at the infamous Zack's North Beach, Sundays were redubbed HDS Sundays. Fast forward to present day. Lookout for a brand new Hard Dance Society burning up your dancefloors. PSyborg also has a residency at the new concept Tesserakt Trance Radio since April 2016. With years of experience behind the decks and his vast knowledge of music he has the ability to read a dancefloor and turn it into a frenzy. He brings a natural high energy through his sets and presence behind the decks. He is comfortble in warming up a floor through progressive taking you on a journey to hard hitting dancefloor annihilation.

He plays various forms of Trance, Hard Dance and PSy Trance but UK Hard Trance is his favourite Style, and he is a UK Hard Trance Specialist.

He desired to create his own expression of Hard Trance, PSy Trance and Hard House Hybrids and production arised. Self studying producing and music theory intensively, he continues to perfect his sound, pushing the boundaries of South African Hard Dance.
