The music is still in the psychill vein, organic and melodic with the amazing, one of a kind 'Red Sun Rising eastern vibe'. 
Michał has greatly collaborated with the Banati crew and Alia Fay on the first two tracks. Alia lays her beautiful voice and some flute lines on top of the music composed by Michał and Iga, while the last two tracks are composed by Michał himself.

Mindspring Music Presents: DarkRest - The Silver Shore [MSM107]

DarkRest has been incubating in Melbourne, Australia, meticulously crafting his signature sound – which is now ready the be experienced. 'The Silver Shore' was inspired by a poem a friend wrote, which led to this full concept. He wanted to capture what it would be like to be Millions of years old and watching the last of the ancient blackholes die – along with the thoughts, and beliefs, such an entity would have. Feeling isolated, this body of work started taking shape as covid hit. So, He made an open call on the internet for people to send him samples; in the hope to cure lock-down boredom. Shortly after, 27 samples arrived and were woven into these compositions. The sounds ranged from bodily functions to ethnic instruments, to convey a sense of glitching between our world and the universe where the EP takes place. Strap in and prepare to travel deep within; we can’t wait to see where DarkRest brings us next.

Altar Records is proud to offer MK Ultra "UltraWaves" to the light of day!

DJ Jeff Mk Ultra is known to be one of the first goa-trance pioneers in France and Canada. His energy on the dance-floors all over the world while playing his sets is still legendary until now.
Trance is part of his mind and he naturally knows how to share a trance state music experience.
He released many records back in the days, starting in 1994 with "Escape From Anywhere" on Step 2 House Records, wrote legendary goa-trance anthems with Virtuart under the moniker Underhead, released on Coyote Records, AUM Records, etc. 

DJ St Pierre was also in Paris at the birth of the goa-trance scene and they played together many times at so many parties and festivals. St Pierre is now a mastering engineer and sound designer.

He met with DJ Zen (aka Astral Waves) in 1997 in Canada and since then their career path followed each other.
It's in between two lock-downs at the beginning of 2021 that they decided to make some music together, starting at Jeff's Yoga Studio in Paris and finalized at distance, thanks to internet.
After a few months this album was born from Mk ULTRA main arrangements and compositions and Astral WAVES concept in rhythm. So they naturally named themselves "Ultra Waves".
