Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection.

The first of three samplers features Acronym, Ben Buitendijk and Voiski. Acronym's track '16 Cygni' is a sci-fi bit of techno that is speedy, slick and intergalactic, whilst Ben Buitendijk offers up some Millsian, streamlined techno urgency with his 'Colourblind' and finally Voiski gets all elastic and industrial tinged with his whip lashing effort.

We’re celebrating a Fckng decade! German techno label Fckng Serious is turning 10 this August - and to mark the occasion, we’re releasing a very special EP unlike anything the label has done before.
6 artists, 3 tracks, 1 compilation EP. We had some fun and let the dice decide: our “Compilation Dice Roll” created three unique pairings and three brand-new tracks that couldn’t be more Fckng Serious. Back in 2015, Boris Brejcha had a vision: to build a label where music is released exactly how the artist wants - no compromises. From day one, close friends Ann Clue, Deniz Bul, and duo Theydream were part of the label, shaping the Fckng Serious vibe with their music and crew spirit. Over time, the roster grew: Moritz joined in 2020, Frieder & Jakob in 2023, and in 2024, Julian Wassermann started releasing exclusively with the label. Fckng Serious has never been about one genre - it represents a broad range of electronic music.
Fun has always been the top priority. It’s not just about the sound - the crew energy is at the core. Over the last ten years, the label has grown into a major player with global releases, unique events, and its own merchandise line for fans around the world.
The label and its artists have evolved - and there’s still so much to come. Boris Brejcha and the whole Fckng Serious team have big plans for the future.

Rotterdam - Belfast EP part 1 is the result of two day studio session with Secret Cinema in Psycatron’s Belfast based studio. Two days of playing around with synths, recording everything that goes on and cutting and pasting it all into a big fat sounding project. The result was three absolutely banging tracks with a unique sound. Proper gems… 

Two of those tracks can be found on Gem Records. The third will be released on Psycatron’s own Inflyte Records towards the end of June as Rotterdam – Belfast EP part 2. The introduction of another quality techno label to the scene is very welcome! 

"Toy Soldiers" is best described as banging Detroit techno with lots of melody and lots of drive. The bright yet warm synths are a contrast to the heavy pumping kick and quirky sound effects. You’ve got to love this track’s uniqueness. "Nova-K" is more of a hypnotizing groove that features a mysterious sounding arpeggiator and a spacey soundscape over a funky rhythm and bassline. Both tracks are equipped with the tools to create some quality dance floor insanity.

Berlin:Detroit - a musical alliance that resonates deeply with electronic music lovers around the world and has done for the past two decades. Add Belfast to this equation and you have Irish duo Psycatron who have dropped releases on both sides of the Atlantic through Carl Craig's Planet E Communications from Detroit, as well as Berlins' Tresor imprint, while also finding time for the odd excursion on the likes of Scuba's Hotflush Recordings, R&S Records, Cocoon and their own upcoming Inflyte Records, which alongside being a home for their own output, is set to feature material from the likes of Francesco Tristano, Dave Clarke and Kirk Degiorgio in it's opening year.
Their touring schedule has followed a similar global trajectory, touching down everywhere from Fabric to Berghain, The Rex Club and Barracca, to Movement Festival in Detroit, I Love Techno in Belgium and many more of the best clubs and festivals worldwide. In between tours they continue their long-standing residency at Ireland's longest-running techno institution, Shine in Belfast.
With musical influences ranging from Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk to Underground Resistance and Jean Michel Jarre, it's easy to see where the raw emotion, tension and energy prevalent in their music stems from. Being born less than 12 hours apart and subsequently growing up hitting the same techno parties in Belfast, is another common bond that has helped shape the Psycatron sound, where the past clearly influences the future but has an entirely different slant on it.
Touring with Carl Craig and Planet E, ending up on Fact Magazines Top 50 Tracks of the year and performing on London's infamous Boiler Room TV are some of the recent highlights of this duos career who among their fan count you'll find the likes Depeche Mode's Martin L Gore, Francois K and Dave Clarke.
