Markantonio’s label AnalyticTrail drops a hard-hitting three track techno EP from young Italian producer Hanubis whose style blends thundering percussion with timeless synth sounds.

Prior to this EP, Hanubis had released tracks on labels including Spartaque’s IAMT, Sam Paganini’s JAM and Coyu’s Suara, leading to support from DJ’s such as Charlotte De Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Cari Lekebusch, Wehbba, Spektre and Skober.

Hanubis is also a resident DJ at LebenSound UM in the Italian city of Foggia where he regularly plays alongside DJ royalty from around the globe.

“Dish” opens the release with an industrial kick drum fused with stabbing pads and explosive vocal phrases. Track two “Armageddon” blends the twisted euphoria of hypnotic synths with heavy percussion, before the dark and punishing “The Modeline” closes out this peak time techno EP.

Acid Flowers EP is the debut release by the German co-founder of Digital Diamonds and one half of Alic, Piece Of Acid. The driving concept behind the project is based on Roland’s renowned bass synthesizer from the ’80s, called the TB-303, after its unique sound and warm timbre. This gives the EP a retro, acid techno vibe complemented by analog sounds and clear-cut production. However, there’s a refreshing visionary, psychedelic approach in the textures and sound design, using insect-like and glitch effects. On top of that, it has ear-catching ideas that make the tracks not only dance floor gems but well-composed songs. We foresee a promising future for this budding project.

Prepare to have your mind blown !! This week's premiere features a remix like no other, from one of the psychedelic techno greats - Breger. 

The world renowned Hang Massive have shaped the global hand-pan scene, pioneering an electronic act through blending dream-like acoustic and upbeat electronic sounds. Copycow have got their hands on some of duo's greatest hits and the Copycow artists have given it their signature farmed out twist. 

Breger's remix of 'Omad Odat' is a run into a mystical world of minimal techno that is enchanted by the hand-pan sounds that resonate ever so guilefully throughout the mix. Breger really drives home his class with the manipulation of the original's samples, mixed in with organic and driving percussion. The main drop will have listeners all over the world pulling the filthiest of bass faces. 

We are honoured to be premiering such an amazing agricultural groover from one of our favourite artists. We hope you enjoy this premiere as much as we do.

Hey Groovers,

I am absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity to be on board the very promising platform of Flowmusic. I can feel the pure love which is behind this concept, and it is surely one of the most positive things which have happened in these rather tricky and overwhelming times. The concept of creating a 3hr 33 min mix awoke my excitement of blasting music to the masses, and I expected it to be easy as I love to play long sets on parties. But as this is a set mixed in the studio and will be mostly listened to at home, in the car, or in the background, I started to overthink it and it became a challenge. So, I began to revive my whole music archive. Beginning with my vinyl collection, which I started in the 90’s and goes right up to date, then dusting off my immense amount of CD cases and then over to the modern digital formats. It was truly an awesome process and a memorable journey. I found so many forgotten pearls, of which some have found their way into this mix. My hope is that this music will positively distract you to go with the flow, for the next 3hr33min.

Unknown Concept brings the heat with his driving, big room prog techno and Jedidiah lays down utterly cerebral psychedelia. Having spent much of his life exploring the outer limits of music, Pascal aka Brotech constantly strives to produce diverse and adventurous music for all electronic dance enthusiasts.

Along his journey of deep discovery, the German producer has used his Brotech moniker to focus on tech house and seeks to find a unique connection with listeners and dancers around the world through high-quality productions and mixes. Many of these releases have come on his very own label called Syncope Recordz, a platform set up in 2010 aiming to open the door for artists who want to share their passion for the electronic music scene. 

To name a couple, popular releases such as ‘Party Dancer’ and ‘Snake Charmer’ have reached the Music Week Club Charts whilst also being selected by acclaimed global artists such as Joris Voorn, Joseph Capriati and Bob Sinclair, thus it is no surprise that Brotech has been accepted with open arms by the house scene. 

By blending high quality house and techno cuts, Brotech always creates addictive chuggy grooves that can ignite any dance floor and it is no different for his latest release. Known for their deeper house qualities, it is the turn of London-based record label Deeplomatic to provide a platform for Brotech to explore his house influences. 

Delivering an intricate two-track record with 6 remixes, Dis House EP incorporates a whole host of tech savvy house cuts, blending deep progressive elements with powerful bass lines to create a rather splendid tech house feast. Kicking it off in true tech house style is the namesake track “Dis House” which contains a wide selection of percussive instruments formulated to create intense builds that are wrapped in warped deep vocals declaring “this house”. 

The opener is a killer groove fit for purpose and is followed up by a Dub Mix for those wanting a clean cut without vocals. Three remixes follow, the first is by Robin Hirte and takes a slightly more melodic route with longer builds, deeper drops and heavier bass lines that make for a faster paced head banger. Up next is Redux Saints with a thumping house beat that immerses off kilter kick drums and snares within a wonky bass line, whilst the final track is a Sneaker Dancing Dub Mix from American DJ Cheyne Christian who incorporates heavy synths with acid-like samples to create a weirdly wonderful unique groove. On the flip is another original track by Brotech called “Here We Go”, a solid two-stepping tech-house thriller intertwined with rumbling bass lines and deep vocals exclaiming “here we go”. In a similar fashion, the follow up is a slightly cleaner Dub Mix which is preceded by a more progressive remix from American stalwart @djeduke.
