Another week gone, and I barely remember it. Looking at my calendar, it was quite a busy week. But it does not feel like it. Strange. However, when my calendar says so, there can only be one choice in music... err... which is either ambient or dance-ish. Ok, well, last week it was all about relaxation, this week we will treat the body with some beats. Which is very fitting, as I just compiled a track list that fits my requirements. How accidental. Oh, and then there is a live festival coming up in Fulda, Germany. If you are interested and can make it, simply go for a trip. It's several days the week from September 10th. Take your pick. We welcome prog trance legend TALPA as THE RIDDLER, as he delivers this smooth as bush techno remix of the infamous 'Asteroid In Orbit'. Huge, bouncy vibrations about this that has kept us coming back for more after each listen. One of the most addictive tracks that has come out on Stone Seed (FKA Bassic Records).

Quite the unique soundcast this week, with a vs set between two heavyweight names in the Aus festival scene. XAPHAN vs AZRIN. 

Matt Azrin's two aliases battle it out in a typical "techno vs psytrance" match. Matt's been at the forefront of the psychedelic scene for quite a few years now. A world renowned DJ who's performed on the big stage across the globe. Whilst featuring at some of Australia's biggest festivals such as Rainbow Serpent, Eclipse Festival, Strawberry Fields etc, He's also the label DJ for Zenon Records and Merkaba Music, blending his distinct style of psygressive, psychedelic trance, psychill and ofcourse, doof techno. 

This set is a 2 hour journey that starts of in Techno Ville before ending up in full on Zenon stomp. Untz levels are peaking, quite fitting for the day that we've just had as Victoria has just endured the biggest earthquake to date. 

Prepare to slap some walls about it.

"Now is a time of change. From the evolution of my label Bassic Records into Stone Seed, right through to the intensities of global current affairs and so much in between. My 333 mix is a marker of this change, of growth, but also a reminder to make sure one takes the time to feel what it really means to be human.

Creating this journey has in itself, been such an incredible journey. Fulfilling the 333 mix for Flow Music allowed me to dig deep into my collection and present angles of my sound that more rarely see the sunlight, but resonate with me so deeply. The canvas of 3 hours and 35 minutes allowed me to express energies of euphoric electronica, through deep progressive techno, psychedelic prog-house and an extensive emotive spectrum of electronic music.

Flow Music has been showing immense support to the Australian and global music communities since early 2020, intertwining our island region with the rest of the world. I'm grateful for their work and to have been given the opportunity to showcase my craft with them.
