The format is recorded in his studio in the village of Santanyí on the island of Mallorca, Spain. 

On episode #56, Snuffo is very happy to present a guest mix by Hórnbęrg. This great dude grew up in the Baltic Sea area. For many years already, he calls Berlin a home and he’s a part of its electronic music and club scene. 
Hórnbęrg is widely known as a fantastic DJ with an exquisite taste and feeling fo the real sonic adventures. His own podcast is called Gramofonowa, for „Snuffo in Santanyí“ he recorded an a superb set which he describes as: “A strange journey between Psycho Ambient and Hyper UK-Bass-Techno wormholes”.

Los dos son del sur de Alemania, ambos han vivido en Liverpool, donde se conocieron y formaron la banda y, ahora, tienen su sede en Berlín. A lo largo de los años, el dúo ha lanzado tres álbumes juntos, así como dos EPs, ya que se inspiran en los trabajos de Mouse On Mars, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Robot Koch, Trent Reznor y Atticus Ross. „Snuffo in Santanyí“ is a bi-weekly, 2-hour long radio show, hosted by German Electronic Music producer, live act and label owner: Snuffo. The format is recorded in his studio in the village of Santanyí on the island of Mallorca, Spain. 

The 28th episode comes up with a guest mix by Wawashi Deejay in the second hour. He is based in Bologna (Italy) and mostly known for being one half of the amazing Hard Ton project where he produces mega hits nonstop and performs fantastic beats and grooves live on stage. 

Wawashi Deejay is also member of the techno act The Fool's Stone who released a great album on Space Factory last year. 

For the „Snuffo in Santanyí“ show he prepared a dance mix that will make your booty jack and shake. Enjoy!

Psycho & Plastic are determined to reintroduce a sense of wonder and adventure to both the dance floor and the home listening experience. Their new ambient album Placid House (May 8th 2020) focuses on the latter, deviating from the club-oriented releases of the previous year.

Recorded and produced in a mere three weeks after lockdown regulations took hold in their home Berlin, Placid House is an album of beatless ambient music made in and for these unprecedented times. Its eight instrumental tracks capture the essence of our trying times and transform it into sonic relief.

The growing number and diversity of Psycho & Plastic’s releases are testimony to their prowess as producers, composers, and performers. They won acclaim from international publications such as Data Transmission, Faze Magazin, DJ Mag Espana and others. In 2019, Psycho & Plastic’s music was championed by the late Andrew Weatherall in his last mix for BBC Radio 6 Music.
Trained musicians who have been working together for years, Alexandre Decoupigny and Thomas Tichai display stunning musicianship in their output. They also regularly tear up clubs and dance floors with rambunctious live sets of tripped out house and techno.
In true independent spirit, the duo operate their own label GiveUsYourGOLD, a home to Psycho & Plastic and a growing number of other artists and their nonconformist music.

U R NOT ALONE Vol. 23 by Psycho & Plastic

Berlin-based ambient duo Psycho & Plastic is comprised of Alexandre Decoupigny and Thomas Tichai who have been creating music together since 2011. Over the years, and through several musical transformations, the duo have released four albums as well as two EPs as they draw upon the works of Mouse On Mars, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Leftfield, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Robot Koch, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross for inspiration. Their own sound calls to mind the likes of Brian Eno, Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm. 

Foregoing preconceived notions, Psycho & Plastic’s music speaks from the soul, as they create an ambient world with their sound. Aiming their music towards “the thinkers and readers, the doubters and dreamers”, each note is chosen carefully to reflect the lingering concepts that arrange themselves at the back of a person’s mind.
