I feel like a lot of these words come from a darker place in my life, where in a self-destructive way, I was never capable of asking for help. Addictions and drugs taught me that toxic trait. But today, I'm using that energy I had to get it off my chest.

Demo track from 2007, made with the purpose of being used for a band. The track was never finished or performed. Despite good intentions I got carried away and overdid the overdubs (a tendency I struggle to get rid of even now). I made an effort to leave everything as unaltered as possible from the 2007 mix. The only thing I was forced to add was the bass part; before there was a horrible midi placeholder and it was missing in many parts. I tried to play it the way I would have played it in 2007 and it still remains a bit naive since I am not a bass player.
The drums were made from a sample CD found at a friend's house, I don't know where they came from. It probably also has loops in it from the library of the old Apple Soundtrack Pro...
